My husband uses this when he not up to shuffling around in the house.It's a good smallish size but can handle his 250 lbs. just fine.Nice tight turning radius which is important for smaller spaces.So far it has only been used on its lowest speed setting and that is plenty fast for in home use.Can't imagine what it could do if the speed control was on maximum!Responsive controls with a slight delay in moving once control is pressed -- which is a good thing for one's feeling of confidence in being in control.Overall we're delighted with this purchase and I can see us getting more and more use from it as time continues to march on.

I was uncertain about which mobility scooter to buy since there are quite a few manufacturers. I ordered this one because it was in stock and I could get it shipped to my house in a couple of days which worked perfectly with my father visiting for Christmas. The scooter arrived and within a day he was able to ride it around the house and I purchased a scooter carrier for my truck at Northern tool and was able to take the scooter fully assembled to several events which made it handy for my dad to get around. The scooter works as advertised and can be broken down into several smaller parts that fit in a car or SUV. Great product.

Updated 10/1/23: had questions about battery charging issues. This time representative Mike was quick to respond and resolve my issue. I upgraded review to 4 stars from previous 3 stars.Update 3/11/22: They did finally get back to me and answer my questions, but it did take quite awhile.The Metro M1 lite scooter itself is OK. I got confused by watching videos of another model very similar. So I did not buy the specific model I wanted that disassembled the based floorboard into one more piece. Word of advice be very careful prior to purchase. Several emails to the representative noted from the scooter's manual have gone unanswered. No customer service. I would return or exchange if I could figure out how that would work. Not easy or cheaper I assume since the original box and packing was over 100 lbs AND I am disabled so I would not be able to do that myself. Didn't appear to be a dealer on the West Coast either, only NY or NJ.

We purchased this scooter...My husband is 6 feet tall...So for him this scooter will be uncomfortable the chair back is short and not much room at all for his feet. It may of said but the wheels are plastic. Wish he could fine a different seat to put on it. He wanted a scooter with 4 wheels for it to be more stable and that it is. But as he said will be very hard for him to sat on it for a long period of time...

Purchased for mom 88 and the scooter was great but she lost her key and the company does not help on how to purchase a new one They don’t answer emails If they did I would have given five stars

Up date; scooter died after 18 months...no phone number for customer service or how to get it fixed!

My wife has trouble walking very far. This gets her where she wants to go.
