I bought this as a direct replacement for a normal for a Halogen bulb in the Work light as the bulb was advertised as an R7S style bulb. Unfortunately the first bulb broke while I was desperately trying to fit it, but I managed to get the second bulb fitted although it was very difficult to fit. Then when I turned the light on it was a very poor light level so I thought maybe I had purchased the wrong wattage, then after a few minutes the bulb stared to flicker, but as this is a direct replacement for a Halogen R7S bulb then there should be no problem with a ballast as suggested by the seller.I think I will try a 'PHILIPS CorePro LED R7s 17.5W 3000K' as suggested by another reviewer.

Yes you have 2 light bulbs for the price of one but the quality is definitely not there.It can’t be a 20W led and the light is very dim like a 60W incandescent bulb at best.It also started to flicker after 3 weeks.I changed it with a PHILIPS CorePro LED R7s 17.5W 3000K which is far superior.

As an electrician I can confidently say this a non-dimmable lamp & is not 20w. It takes weeks to arrive and is not as advertised
