menzerna Super Heavy Cut Polishing Compound 300 32oz and Microfiber Towel

This is a fabulous compound if you know what you’re doing! Very fast cutting, and polishes to a nice finish. BUT, you can burn through clear coat very quickly if you don’t know when to stop! I will buy again

Creamy White Compound that starts cutting at low rpm's using a wool pad. Removed all the remaining scratches in the gelcoat of a 30 year old boat with just One pass. First the gelcoat was wet sanded with 800 grit, then 1000 grit and 1200 grit using an electric 1/4 page finishing sander to remove the chalky oxidation and any deep scratches. Then Compounded the dull wet sanded gelcoat surface using a wool pad and the Menzerna 300 compound. Next we polished the gelcoat using the Menzerna 3800 Polish using a grey foam pad at high speed which shinned and deepened all the gelcoat colors, dark grey, burgundy and off white. Last we hand waxed the gelcoat with a carnauba wax made by Swiss Wax. Looks like New. The Menzerna 300 does in fact cut better and faster then the Menzerna 400 Compound. We tried both compounds. Gelcoat is a very hard polyester resin with open pores.

As with all menzerna products this is top notch. But, just know this stuff is no joke. It will rip through your paint if you are not careful. Be very aware of edges and know your substrate. Metal dissipates heat, plastic does not. So obviously if you're using this on plastic bumpers you can burn through in no time. That all being said it is an excellent "sledge hammer" for paint correcting. Leaves a very good finish but definitely needs a second step. Again, not for beginners.

Holy S**T this stuff cuts like a BEAST, little to no dusting! Menzerna is TOP notch!

Awesome and works fast

Es la primera vez que me llega medio producto.. y digo medio por qué más de la mitad se salió del embase y se adirio a la microfibra ...... No hay opción de mandarle mensaje al comprador... Por el pendiente que tengo de entregar un vehículo, no lo puedo regresar .... Pero igual muy decepcionante está situación.....
