I've been working out more often and needed some relief. I've been sore so I tried this out to help relieve some of the soreness. This worked exceptionally well and I'm very happy that it was super simple to set up. This was definitely worth the value for the pain relief that I felt.

We bought the light and we were trying to assemble it, but the screw bolt was missing!!! The washer did not fit. So we had to go to the hardware store to buy one. Think before you purchase!!!!

I bought this infrared light after my car accident, it helps with the pain in my elbow and knee. I used it once I am feeling the cortisone shots are wearing off.

Really something the way this lamp works. Focus it on the problem area; you will feel a very deep ache for just a minute or two; by deep. Its is very tolerable, not a painful ache. then it subsides and you feel relaxed. And if you are like me, you fall asleep. The lamp has a timer and automatically shuts off. For most people, you sleep like a baby the whole evening. I have noticed the heat on my focus area is palpable to the touch, but not at all noticeable otherwise. That means it is a very deep form of heat. No sunburn effect. Great to use after rehab exercises. Many medical folks say it has deep, long term healing benefits. I don't know except I do feel better with regular use. Consider this just one your several pain management tools. The extension pole allows almost any practical reach. The flexible pole on the lamp gives it great focus. Best wishes for your recovery!

I purchased 3 of these for my massage studio and LOVED THEM! However, the plastic broke on one of them and fell onto a client during a massage. That was not cool. The others are still working fine, I have to tighten them once in a while as they become loose and start to lean.

I tripped and fell this past summer and broke my shoulder. Even though it has been months, it still aches. I heard that infrared light could help and I do believe that it does. The lamp was easy to assemble, sturdy and the light from it does feel good. It's a warm and pleasant feeling like being at the spa. Gives me a sense of well-being and comfort. I'm getting better and better each day and I do feel the lamp has a lot to do with it. I am happy with this purchase, if the lamp does not continue working for whatever reason I will update my review but so far so good.

I warn you not to purchase this item. It appears to have caused permanent discoloration to the skin on my knee
