This is a product review for the Amazon Vine program.This Iconit remote stand for the Apple TV remote works fine and looks good. It doesn't fit the remote snugly; rather, there's a fair amount of room on either side of the remote, but it still holds it upright without any problem.So, it does what it's supposed to, so I'll give it a good rating. There are a couple of lingering questions, though. First, is this product necessary? People with a surround sound system are apt to have at least a couple of remote controls at hand for the TV settings, the receiver or soundbar, the Blu Ray player, and maybe more. Does it help to have one remote standing up, ready to be used? You be the judge.The second question is whether it's worth the money. It's actually pretty expensive for what you get, a piece of metal that corresponds pretty well to the aesthetics of the Apple remote. I got it through the Vine program, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't pay eighteen bucks for it.In my opinion, the remote stand is kind of a novelty item. It looks good and serves its intended function, and is maybe more of a fun than functional kind of product. For people immersed in the Apple ecosphere, though, it might be one more thing to add to the collection. Again, you'll have to determine if this is right for you, but if you decide on it, you'll get a well crafted piece of aluminum that matches the remote quite well.

Solid stand that holds the remote. Nothing to plug in. It just sits where you put it, and it will stay. Put the remote in the slot and it keeps the remote at the ready for you. The look of the base matches the remote.

The angle of the cut holds the remote too straight vertically. It should have more bias so the remote leans over.

I recently acquired this stand to provide a stylish and functional resting place for my Apple TV 4K 2022 remote. It does look crafted from pure machined aluminum and boasting a matching silver color to match the Aluminum of my XDR Pro Display. The stand was a sleek addition to my setup, seamlessly blending with the Apple aesthetics. Its premise was simple: to keep my remote upright and readily accessible At a decent price, the ICONIT stand positions itself as a premium accessory, a cost that seems steep for what is essentially a piece of metal… Despite its high-quality feel and apparent durability, the lack of snugness in the remote's fit wasn’t a major concern… as if the stand was to tight you’d risk the factor of scratching it and damaging the surface. The remote, although not falling out at every touch, was prone to tipping over with slight nudges. The stand is undoubtedly well-made, matching the Apple remote's finish perfectly and offering a simple solution to keep the remote upright. In essence, while the stand adds a touch of elegance to any surface it graces in my opinion.

Simple and functional stand for Apple TV remote. Matches the sleek lines of Apple products and complements the remote perfectly. Substantial weight to the aluminum stand keeps it from moving around, although they provide a 3M double stick pad, should you want to more permanently affix the stand to a surface. I’ve read some of the other reviews in which much is made of the remote not fitting tightly and flopping about… and that’s a head scratcher. I can only surmise that these folks might have the original Apple TV remote and not the newer remote which is thicker (and longer) than the original. The compatible remote is shown in the picture on the product page.

I am happy to say that this stand is perfect for my Apple TV control. It does not fall backwards as the stand has the perfect crevice for it to stay up. The quality is strong and overall the product is well made. I no longer need to worry about misplacing it when it has a stand to be placed. Definitely a helpful stand.

Super disappointed with this. I always loose my Apple Remote so I thought this would be a good addition to my nightstand.Quality wise, the metal is well made and has a good smooth feel to it and looks like it is an official Apple accessory. The problem is with the opening that is supposed to hold your remote, it is too big. It sadly falls over with the simplest touch. It comes with an adhesive on the bottom that is supposed to be easy to remove and reapply for cleaning but it is too adhesive so it does not remove easily and over time will most likely no longer adhere.Overall it is nicely made and matches well but the opening should have been a slight bit smaller so it was able to hold the remote better.

I have the 2nd gen (32GB) 4k Apple TV, that came out in 2021. It came with the silver matte finish aluminum remote--but no stand. I wanted something to keep the remote upright on a small end table to save space, and this aluminum stand fit perfectly--and the finish was an exact match. It inserts from both angles, and holds well but isn't so tight to cause friction. It has an adhesive backing, should you wish to fasten it to a surface, but it's heavy enough to keep the remote from tipping.
