The second I put out this scratcher/bed my cat was all over it. Rolling around on it scratching it. She normally sleeps with me but that night she slept in this bed.

This fell apart within a couple of weeks. My super lazy cat scratched this a couple of times and the sisal separated from the foam. Soon there were little pieces of foam everywhere. Huge waste of money. Cheap cardboard scratchers last a lot longer and cost considerably less.

I'm going to break her heart if I decide to return it. She scratches on the ropes and pulls them away from the base, which is styrofoam. I'm going to try gluing but I don't have high hopes.UPDATE - We're keeping it. The glue is holding and she's being more gentle. She loves it. The size is perfect for a good roll about and she plays with the toy (which is holding so far).I can't give it 5 stars because of how quickly the ropes pulled out and having to make repairs that may not hold.

My mom bought one of these for her cats, and I saw how much they loved it, so I had to try it with my own. It was a hit for my two kitties as well! They love to scratch in it and I often find them lounging on it as well. This is a great solution to deterring them from scratching on furniture. This is a paws up from all of our cats!

My cats loved it. The problem is they tore it up quickly. Its styrofoam underneath and it was getting all over the house. Wish it lasted a longer... My cats love to scratch and I need sturdier scratchers than this was.

This does it all! A place for your cat to lay down and sleep the day away in the sun! Or, maybe they need to scratch! Or, maybe they’re looking for some solo playtime. They can have it all with this.My cat is about 8 lbs. (To give you an idea of size.) And there’s lots of space to fill still! When scratching, it doesn’t move all over the place thanks in part to the underside with little grip dots. (See second pic.) The attached ball allows kitty to swat and swat over and over.

My cats are one and 1/2 years old and they are large, especially long so the bed's length is the perfect size. The price was quite steep for a simple bed but was less expensive than the other sellers on Amazon.

Does she scratch it as her daily scratcher? No. But she sits in it almost every day and loves to play with the ball. It’s a win if she uses it.Cat for size she is 14.5 pounds if you need reference on the size of scratcher
