I recently tried the Baja Sea Salt and overall, I'm quite impressed with its quality. The taste is excellent, providing a delightful burst of natural saltiness that enhances the flavor of my dishes. The packaging is also sturdy and convenient, ensuring the salt stays fresh.However, one minor drawback I noticed is the presence of a slight moisture content. This moisture makes it a bit challenging to break up the salt into finer crystals. While it doesn't significantly affect the taste, it can make the salt clump together.Despite this small inconvenience, I would still recommend Baja Sea Salt for its authentic taste and overall quality. If the moisture issue could be addressed, it would undoubtedly be a perfect addition to any kitchen.

One of the finest salts on steak that I’ve ever had

Decided to test this when making a salmon quiche recently. Now, "season to taste" is perhaps not the best instruction to follow if you don't already have a general idea of how much to use because the quiche definitely came out tasting salty but it was still quite good.As coarse as this is it dissolved into the mixture without problems, but in the interest of not wasting it on something that works well with really any kind of salt, I'll be reserving the rest of it for things like dry brined chicken or roasted salmon.The resealable bag is a little less convenient to store on a pantry shelf than a typical canister--eventually the amount of salt won't be enough to keep that bottom flat and it could fall over--but it seems like it's more protected against humidity in the air as a result. Or, perhaps, protected against the moisture already in the bag evaporating prematurely; like other reviewers have noted, it has a wet feel to it but from my inexpert googling that seems to be a "type" of salt rather than any issue in the packaging.

I bought this salt because it was supposed to have less sodium than regular sea salt (70% instead of 90-something). I dont have a blood tester but it seems ok to me.

The salt in the bag was wet. There were no holes in the bag so I’m not sure why it’s wet. I was afraid to use it so I just threw it away.
