Boy. Is it hard to find something like this!!??!! I bake and decorate cookies by the tons when I get the urge. I have been on the hunt for a small turntable. I was using an OLD Rubber Maid Lazy Susan with a 1/3" lip, designed for kitchen shelving. The size & lip have been a problem. I need a small rotating surface without a lip to place a cookie on. The rotation allows me to turn them without constantly picking them up to reposition. Every time they get picked up there is a huge risk of messing up the edges. The lip-free edge allows me to slide a spatula under the finished cookie for relocation to a drying rack. So that is my situation. As for this little guy, he is almost perfect for MY needs. If you are displaying something on him he is great. The rotation is just right so I have control. For food prep I need to add one little thing... I will get a clear/frosted soft cutting mat & cut a circle to fit on the top. The reason is because there is a depressed area in the center that is designed for joining the top & bottom. (Picture) I might use a dab of icing for a temporary hold so the mat can be removed for cleaning! Cookies have crumbs, etc. I don't want to have to worry about stuff getting into areas that I cannot frequently clean w/ ease. Problem solved! I could see this being used by detail painters, say like small figures, glueing or hot glueing small items. Or any detail work that needs to be rotated. It stores easily. The price is perfect. It seems that there should be plenty of purposes for this little guy in anyone's well appointed "tools of the trade" tool stash! This was my third purchase of this lazy Susan.. I love how durable they are, very easy to turn.. I like that they are clear..not that this was a huge factor in my purchasing. I’m currently using all three in my spice cabinet. I’ve had larger lazy Susan’s made by bigger names but 1) their circumstance was too large for my needs and 2) they tended to warp and yellow over time. These are quite sturdy. I’m very pleased with this purchase as I was my first. I’m including a photo for reference.

I willingly paid a little more for this smaller size turntable because the shelves I have to work with in the Alaskan lodge I am caring for has somewhat narrow shelves to hold all the spices. From past experience I know turntables for spices work best; you can actually fit more spices in a small space, and then find them easily as you spin the table rather than digging through, messing up your order. These little tables are perfect. I added rubbery shelf liner to keep the jars from sliding off. If I were down yonder (lower 48) I’d pick up an adhesive backed, rubbery liner to apply, but up here...you use what you have on hand.

I had intended on returning it when it arrived if I was not able to catch the delivery person to refuse delivery. Since the product delivered, I decided to try it out for what I intended....well, I’m glad I got it because it’s a perfect, discreet fit for my crock utensils holder. I’m able to easily view and find the kitchen tool I need.

I bought this for use with a boardgame that has a rotating center piece.I was surprised to be able to find a lazy susan this small of a size but decided at the price to give it a shot.Two suggestions I can offer, a tiny spray of silicone spray in between the plastic makes this rotate smoothly and without making and squeaky sounds. Another is that I saw one reviewer with a photo that shows the interior bearing wheel to be misaligned when it arrived. I can confirm this is possible, it is not a big deal though, it simply takes a small screw driver or a butter knife and you can quickly and easily give it a small gentle push from one side and it will slide right into the interior track and won't move again. I imagine many of these often get shifted in transport while being tossed around. Easy fix and the item is not broken or damage if you receive one this way.Would recommend and would buy again if I needed one of these small sizes for any project.

I use a lot of my Amazon orders for my craft. This is no exception! Lightweight, easy to clean and a good size for me. As for durability it should last me forever. I find that they're a little stiff on turning, but may be due to the small size.

The 6" size is absolutely perfect for my Echo Shows! I also got a clear one for my White Show. Perfectly smooth top and bottom with a hole in the center.

I use mine for my stone painting crafts, it is perfect to position my work on and turn it rather than having to turn the work itself.

ARTISTS: These things are great. They are a little imprecise but ok for your Marquette work!BEIGE people: These are just FABULOUS for displaying your special pieces to their full potential.
