I ordered this heater or my van - it fits neatly under the passenger seats. I tapped into the diesel tank so didn't use all the supplied hardware and tank - although they look to be good quality - I only used the diesel pickup line. The filter is quality too along with clear instructions.couple of niggles - the controller works fine but it always defaults back to 8kw setting when powered up although the temp remains at the last selected. The fuel pump is VERY loud - I used a stand off to keep the pump off the chassis and the supplied rubber mount plus wrapped it in pipe lagging - still loud. I have just swapped it for a quieter 22ml pump with integrated filter - almost silent now. The supplied intake pipe is paper/foil - no good if you mount the intake filter externally, the exhaust pipe is flexible stainless steel and fine for my application.

Absolutely brilliant bit of kit - well worth it & good value for money.

Cheap components that are not designed to be put together. Example: fuel tank is not compatible with the supplied pickup tube, with no way of installing it safely. Fuel filter is of a completely different design than the one shown in the instructions. Combustion intake has an air filter that is just a basic large holed screen (not suitable).Don’t buy!!!!

Fantastic for caravan

Got this to heat my garage in winter so I don’t freeze to death while working in there. I found it easy to install and set up. I think the hardest thing about setting it up would be getting the right position to be able to get the exhaust to outside but not insurmountable. Mine works off a car battery and fires up easily, the remote was easy to use and I could switch the heater on from inside my house. All in all I’m very happy with the heater and would definitely recommend.

There were missing parts in the kit, as many have reported. It's amazing when it works properly, but having heard so many negative experiences, I live in constant fear that something will happen out of the blue. I also really don't like the fact that the price of this heater flactuates from £70 to £250, as if they were waiting for the right moment to rip people off properly. The only real strength of these heaters is that they are cheap and so they can easily be replaced completely when they go wrong, as opposed to spending time and money at mechanics; if they become expensive, there's no point anymore... I might as well get the one that offers me a couple of years free warranty. My experience has been great so far, but how long will it last? There's a lot of help on dedicated Facebook groups.
