I got this to replace an Ember mug which, after about a year, stopped keeping the temperature uniform. I like that I don't have to use an app with this one. I loved the red Ember and wish THIS mug came in red, but they only have burgundy which I really don't care for. So I got black. I have only had this for a couple of months. So far, it works great! I like that it has a better range of temperatures. We'll see how long it lasts!

I love my electric mug. It is the largest I could find. It keeps my coffee warm in the mornings. There are 3 temperature settings to suit your taste. Very easy. Just set your temperature and whenever you put it down make sure it fits properly in its charging base.

The heating function is good but I wouldn't use it as a kettle. I heat up my drink (tea/coffee) then hold it at the lowest setting for drinking. It has 3 settings 120F, 135F, 150F. When I put in the coffee at 170F the temp will read at 170F and I read the temp as it drops then holds at the temp setting you chose. So I can watch it for when it reaches drinking temps. The temps are also on both sides of the cup so lefties and righties can read the temp with no problems. That's enough for me to want to buy another. It does hold the temps fairly well but you want to leave the lid on if your not actively trying to cool the drink down. It can bring the temperatures up from zero but it takes a while. It almost doesn't move if the lid is off. The battery lasts about 2.5 hours at 120F. You can leave it on the charger and it'll run all day. However you have to remove it, turn it on, then place it back on the charger. I have not noticed a hot outside skin of the cup. Either from the drink or the battery. It's always been room temp. Even when the inside water is boiling.Detractors. It's small. The cup portion doesn't seem to hold as much because it has the heating element and battery. I haven't measured but it doesn't feel like the 20oz or whatever it was advertised as. It's a minor one because it refills just as fast. It should come with two chargers. Or at least allow me to buy another one. One for the couch and one for next to the coffee pot.

I bought for a gift. My mother in law has low mobility and was always complaining about her coffee going cold as she couldn’t get up to heat it. She absolutely loves it. It keeps it hot for her to drink at her leisure all through the day.

The mug is great. A much better value than other smart mugs. No app to use. My main complaint is there is no way to buy another charger. I'd like a second one for my desk, but they don't have them available according to the seller. They did send me a returned, broken mug with a working charger for free, so that was pretty awesome of them. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would buy a mug and want a second charger for the desk or by your favorite reading spot. So that's a bit of a letdown. No other complaints. Great mug. I use it daily.

I bought this after buying several Ember mugs -- the Ember mugs last for about a year of once-a-day charge cycles before the battery won't hold a charge, and I wanted to try an alternative. Well, I'm less than a year in on this mug & it's worse than Ember in every way. Form factor is awkward -- huge "bowl", unbalanced in the hand, the battery is barely is able to last long enough to finish one cup of coffee, it's easy to miss the "sweet spot" in the charging cradle & then you wake up to an uncharged mug the next day. etc etc. It's back to another Ember for me, I guess (or maybe a non-self-heating mug; these thing are so wasteful it's embarrassing)

I'm loving this mug and use it daily for hot cup of coffee and tea. Normally after getting my beverage before I had the mug, I got called for meetings or discussion, thus had to drink cold beverage, this mug works perfectly for me, cold coffee no more! Yay! it's a bit heavy due to the battery but no big deal. I was using this with step down transformer initially as manual says to use 110v only and it was a hassle. However, I've noticed the adapter supports 100v to 240v and emailed to support and they've confirmed that 220v is supported. I'm using it in Singapore, so just need to get a plug converter and it works perfectly. Got a card that ask to register within 7 days of purchase and get 2 years warranty. Highly recommended mug!

I was loving this purchase. I did have an issue, however, their customer service stepped up big time and I couldn't be more happy. I did a lot of research before purchasing this mug and can honestly say it is a great buy. I highly recommend if you are looking for a mug to keep your coffee hot for as long as you want it to be hot.

I ordered this cup on AmazonUK, but it came with an American plug. This is a wonderful coffee mug, (I have one here in the US), but I ordered one for my son-in-law in England and they sent it without a proper connection. It has a USA plug-in so they cannot use it or it will burn out quickly as it is not made for their system. And now I can not return it.
