Makes it easier to clean my bike chain and cassette sprockets.
I have always found it difficult to get the cassette clean on my bike at the same time as cleaning my chain with a Finish Line chain cleaner. Now I can remove the wheel and hand clean the sprockets and use the tool on the chain. I think this will come in handy when I am doing other maintenance with the wheel removed. Well built. I bought because I read good reviews on this. I do expect it to last a long time.

Simplifies washing/maintaining your bikes with the wheels off.
Well made. Easy to use chain hanger for your through axle setup. Allow your chain to hang onto it with the wheels off.Installation is a breeze with one hand.Quite expensive, but for the build quality I don’t mind.

Does it's job but I like the ParkTool one better.
This does exactly what it needs to do with one minor exception. I have both this one and the one from ParkTool and while this one is easier to get on/off and has the through axel adaptor, if I'm cleaning my chain and running through the gears then the ParkTool one works better. Reason being is this one doesn't have any real play side to side to the chain can't really move properly when changing gears. The ParkTool one is longer and allows the chain to flow side to side as the derailleur is moving. Both do their job and I'll keep this one in my toolbox for sure though.

Not as expected
Great in concept but I couldn’t get the chain keeper to reliably work and ended up purchasing a dummy hub from another company.

Great addition to the bike tool kit.
I've been using a "homemade" hack for years and this takes care of every shortcoming. Works great with thru axle frame.

Very well kept chain...
As a keen self-maintenance enthusiast and FBS Pro-Elite stand owner, it became crystal clear to me that anyone who owns ANY brand of cycle stand, clearly indicates a high level of respect for their ride. This product isn't just for those who wish NOT to remove the chain from their bike (for a 'proper' clean), the all-round benefits from owning one of these becomes more apparent once installed.I purchased this particular item not just for being loyal-to-the-brand as the Pro-Elite is a bullet-proof sexy piece of kit (...Sorry Park Tool, I hate that blue of yours). It just happens to be as anticipated, the best one out there for the simple task that it has to perform...Secure in your drop-out, put the chain in the groove, wrap your degreaser-ridden rag around your chain and rotate your crank till your heart's content, allowing you to caress your chain good enough for a 'Colgate' ad audition. To begin with, like most hand-sized things that come apart, it may seem to be a little bit fiddly, especially if you have both types of drop-out to deal with (if so, buy two). However, if like me you don't, you quickly realise that it never really requires to be totally unscrewed , which is great as I've only had to go on hands and knees just the once, looking for the conical spring.Unless your surname is Boardman or Froome, you should only ever need to buy one chain keeper...this is THAT one. May seem pricey, but for this reason alone, like all FBS products the cost is justified. Think german-style practicality and build quality, italian-esque good looks, all from a US based company, and yep you guessed it, made in China. Also, whilst your rear wheel is removed, you can really get up-close and personal with your bike frames' nooks n' crannies to check n' clean areas that are impossible to access with rear wheel in situ, all whilst looking at the very least like a semi-pro cycle doctor.Superb, nigh-on essential little addition to a cycle maintenance tool kit. If your a proud owner of a Pro Elite or Sprint stand, from an aesthetic perspective I know your feeling me right now. Why it isn't included in a package deal like I purchased which included stand, tote bag and tool tray is beyond me...FBS take heed!!!All in all, top draw little rosey-coloured piece of nuclear bomb-proof magic. Well done/congrats FBS
