This is very easy to use, doesn't fall apart after cutting and holds plenty of glue so I feel like my bindings are really secure. They're large sheets so this will last for quite awhile.

I ordered this bookbinding fabric so I could try my hand at making custom journals. I didn't realize the pieces of fabric are so big! This should easily make a ton of journals! The cloth seems good quality, and pretty strong. I'm excited to try this out on my next bookmaking project! 😁

This comes with a TON of book binding cloth that will last me forever, it is thin but very strong. It is woven loosely but is stuck together so it does not fray, which is a great feature. I'm excited to have this for all my hobby book binding adventures.

I was so very happy to see this bookbinding necessity appear on Amazon. I can find nothing locally and mail order required a large amount and/or was extremely expensive from book-binding specialty stores.No matter what you call it where you live, Mull, Super, Crash, or something else (You GOTTA tell me what other names it has where you live!), it laid down over the spine of a book I was making and worked like a champ.I'm so glad I will no longer have to make do with some other material; I can bind books with confidence in the correct materials now. You get two (2) pieces of cloth that measure approximately 38" x 64" for a total of 76" x 128" (non-continuous). The cloth is slightly rigid, and the weave is a little open and random, but it will work well on the spine of your book block. At this price point, beginners can hone their skills without breaking the bank. I would recommend this for all skill levels.

I've been "perfect binding" books and booklets for quite a few years now, and this stuff really fills a niche for the amateur bookbinder. For both construction and repair to damaged books this stuff will add a lot of structural support to a glued binding. The cloth is pre-sized, so it is easy to cut and keep in place while you glue it down, and it works very well with PVA glue.
