My hubby coaches the under 7s team in our local area. He was tired of shouting or using a manual whistle so he tried this. We and other parents have commented how handy it is. My hubby felt a little embarrassed initially and possibly regretted the purchase but not now… other coaches are asking where he purchased this from… it’s super handy, volume and sound control. And man, does this thing deliver on the volume front – it's super loud, way louder than I expected. I gave it a go indoors and ended up with my ears ringing! It's definitely more suited for outdoor spaces or big areas where you can really let it rip.Using it is a breeze. It's got three different sound settings, which is pretty cool for mixing it up depending on what you need. Switching between these sounds is easy, so that's a big plus in my book. The design is comfy to hold, and it comes with a lanyard, which is handy for keeping it within reach.But, the sound intensity is something else. It's so loud it can be a bit too much, especially in certain places. I found myself being really careful about where I used it. The seller suggests stuffing cotton or tissue in the horn to muffle it a bit, but that feels like a bit of a band-aid solution to what might be an oversight in the design for some users. The first thing that I think is important tot say about this, is that 100% my video “DOES NOT DO THE SOUND JUSTICE”, at all.I was dubious about this I’ll admit, and I couldn’t have been further off the mark, because this is LOUD!.It’s fair to say that this is louder than I can whistle, and I can properly whistle, not only is it louder, but it’s also way, WAY, more consistent.All I have to do to use this, is use the switch at the top to select “Sound 1,2, or 3”, and then “Press the button”, and whichever sound I’ve chosen, blasts out at a incredibly loud volume, and all 3 of them are very noticeable, my wife and I took this out earlier while walking the dogs, and it was easy to hear from one end of the football pitch to the other, unsurprisingly, because when I first tried this I was in my office at home, and my wife thought I’d set the fire alarm off, and it gave me a jump too on the first press I just didn’t expect the volume or sound that came out.This feels well enough made, and is a decent size in my hand, making it easy to hold which I like, and impressively it also came with spare batteries and a decent enough lanyard that it fits over my head comfortably.I also really like the colour scheme, not just because of the aesthetic, which I think looks cool, but also for the fact that I think it’s easier to see in the “Light Blue & Orange” that I have it in, which makes it harder for me to put down and loose.All in all this feels sturdy enough that it will last, and is very loud, I think it works great.
