If you're a fan of green tea I highly recommend this. I got it because of the price, I wanted to try raw puerh without spending alot. This stuff is delicious, hands down better than any green tea I've tried in america before. Well worth it, highly recommend for people like me; looking to get into pu erh teas. This is a great place to start. Also I suggest looking into gongfu style of brewing to get the best cup.

This unfermented Puerh raw tea tastes good an smells fragrant. It has a more green tea taste than a regular Puerh. It is smooth and mellow, and somewhat floral and fruity. I find it delicious and delightful to drink. It comes in a compressed tea cake form, pre-scored into 9 little squares that you can break off and brew.The tea cake comes packaged in a retail paper wrapper and bagged in a resealable paper bag. The tea leaf appears to be whole and seems fresh. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this tea. Good flavor and nice aroma. Decently priced. Worth giving it a try. Good Puerh raw tea.

I suspect that this brick or this batch of bricks was mishandled somewhere along the line. The brick, even though scored was so hard that it took me multiple minutes and heavy blows from a meat Mallet against my tea Pick even then I still had to. Use my hands to finally break off a Square. Even following the Kung Fu directions included in the package. The tea did not want to soften. By the second infusion, I finally got a cup of that was absolutely terrible. Extremely metallic AndMedicinal tasting. I will be disposing of this tea I have never given a review this negative ever before.

I like the tea, can make it the way I want.

You can't break this apart. I've been drinking green tea for years. This is terrible it makes my tongue feel like it's burning from chemicals. I will not be drinking this. I chose 1 star because it wouldn't let me post without one.

It's very tightly compressed but the quality of the tea is good. It's got a slight sweet taste to it. Make sure you don't bur your tea. I wouldn't go above 175f or 80c
