No outlet needed
These were just what I needed for lamps in living room where I did not have outlets.

This is SO COOL
Needed to make a traditional lamp a cordless one near the front door. These light bulbs are awesome and so is the remote that gives you three different intensities for the light bulb, the ability to lighten or darken, and the best is the timer with 4 duration times. Am purchasing more as there is one other place that needs a lamp but there is no available electric outlet.

Fun light bulbs
I love that with these light bulbs I can place a lamp anywhere. The battery life seems to be good. The remote control allows you to control the brightness, which is an added bonus.

Nice E12 (12mm base) Candelabra Filament Style LED Bulbs
... Although not 8 watts as stated as they only draw 5.5 watts per my test.So not equal to a 100 watt [incandescent bulb equivalent] as stated in the "About this item" description, more like a 60 watt equivalent in brightness. Odd too that in the main top paragraph it says "...75 watt" [incandescent ] which is still a little high for a 5.5 watt LED lamp of this style. That said, it is still plenty bright, emitting a comfortable warm white 2700K color temperature light. The bulbs are compatible with newer dimmers and are said to be flicker free, they give off very little heat which should make for a longer life. The outer lamp covering is glass but doesn't feel thin or extremely fragile. The price might be a little on the high side per unit - but they are a well made, dimmable, LED filament style candelabra bulb.

Quality of light produced by bulb
I read many reviews about this type of bulb. Even though there were a few negative reviews of this product I bought the six pack. The quality of light that these bulbs produce was excellent. My wife is an artist and loves the quality of light that she gets from these bulbs. I Recommend them to anyone who needs white light especially indoors or outdoors.

Terrific rechargeable light bulbs with lots of options and work well lighting up a room!
Inside the box are the two rechargeable light bulbs wrapped in a soft, white foam bag. Each one has a plastic cap on the bottom of it to protect the charging port during shipping. It also comes with two USB-A to USB-C cables that are about twenty inches long. It also comes with two remotes, each one in its own clear, sealed, plastic bag. There is also a square of paper with some simple instructions and other information on it.The bulbs are made of hard plastic. The bulbs had no battery charge in them when I opened the box and took them out. I plugged them in using the USB-C port on the bottom of the bulb. It took about four hours to charge them up to 100%. There is also a small “On/Off” indicator underneath to the USB-C port. It’s worth noting that if you try turning on the light bulb using the switch on the lamp, the bulb will not turn on. The bulb is not touch-sensitive either and can only be adjusted using the remote control. They lasted about 4-20 hours, depending on the brightness setting I used. The remote control has all the functionality for these bulbs. You can turn them off and on with it. You can press the red, green, and blue buttons to change the whiteness setting from warm, neutral, or cold white, respectively. The plus and minus buttons adjust the brightness, from 10, 30, 50, 80, or 100% brightness. There are also “50%” and “100%” buttons if you just want to choose one of those without going through the other settings. On the bottom of the remote, there are four timer buttons. You can choose the buttons to turn the bulbs off in 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes. This is a very handy feature, especially if someone keeps forgetting to turn off the lights. While these are not considered “smart” bulbs that can be controlled by your voice and connected to a smart home device, these bulbs make it easy to control them with a remote control instead. In testing it out, the remote has a range of about fourteen feet or so. The bulb will only work within that distance and only if you have a straight line of sight from the remote to the bulb itself. The remote doesn’t work around corners or through walls. The remote's signal will work through thin lampshades, but not thick ones, as they block the remote's signal. For some reason, the “On” button has a range of fourteen or so feet but when I try pressing the “Off” button, it only works from a closer distance. Finally, the smiley face on the bulbs reminds me that these are rechargeable. Someone might forget that these are not to be thrown away when they burn out and are no longer usable. The smiley face helps remind them that they should not be tossed out in the garbage. These would be great to make any lamp a cordless one or if you want a lamp placed somewhere where there is no outlet. They also will come in handy during a power outage, because they run on a battery and are not dependent on electrical power from a wall outlet.I’ve been using these for a few weeks now without any problems. Overall, the multitude of features in the remote gives me a lot of options in terms of how bright I want them to be as well as the whiteness level. These are well-made rechargeable lightbulbs with a lot of utilitarian options.
