Purchased for my daughter's college assignment. But read it myself. So interesting to read about many people so famous and how they struggled to grasp the English language

To learn English is good and to write as well

Loved it. Also got Spanish version to let my ESL student LOOK at//PERUSE/READ only/ENJOY it. She liked it too much, so I felt obligated to gift her with it. to encourage her in her own efforts. . Oh well, I still have this English version!

This is an informative book detailing how famous Latinos learned English. I am reading some of the essays to my Spanish classes so that they might get insight into how to improve their own learning of Spanish in addition to classroom learning.

I purchased both the English and Spanish version of this book for my son. He loves both of them! It gave him a better understanding of the struggles person who are leaning English as a second language goes through.
