This Mastercraft Band Saw Station (055-6712-0) easily converts the Mastercraft Maximum Cordless Band Saw (055-6710-4; sold separately) into a stationary band saw. Minimal effort and less than 30 seconds of your time is taken to install the saw on the stand. The saw is held securely in place with a screw down clamping mechanism. The stand has a convenient 5" by 8-1/2" metal work table and an on/off switch with safety lock. For more security the stand has for mounting holes that allow you to securely fasten the stand to your workbench and unfasten to easily store it away or remove it from your workbench when you need the extra space. The stand makes your band saw more versatile as you can use both hands to guide your pattern through with more precision.
