Will the Celestron CPC 9.25 GPS work with a canon camera and also with a pc plugged into it.

My canon works fine with the Celestron 8" (you need to buy a ring adapter, cheap and available from Amazon), also works with a PC plugged in, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with the 9.25... hope this helps, Andrew

Anyone know what the differences between this and the nexstar 8SE are? The specs look very similar.

The CPC800 has two upright arms supporting the optical tube. There are no batteries stored in the base; it uses an external power supply. The tripod is very rigid and the whole telescope assembly is heavier than the 8SE. You should take this into consideration if you need portability. The CPC800 will need an external power supply.

Can it be used for terrestrial views i.e how close can it focus?

Focal length is 2032mm (80inches) , linear field of view @ 1000yds = 42 feet.  (celestron specification). These telescopes are mainly used for viewing planets like Jupiter or Saturn . Not really ideal for terrestrial . All Schmidt Cassegrains are narrow fields of view. On land you would need to be viewing over a long distance, and then you would only see a small area highly magnified. Refractors are wider fields of view and better for terrestrial views, eg Skywatcher 120 refractor telescope or Celestron Ultima 100 Spotting Scope would suit you better.

The telescope needs a 12 volt power supply. It does not contain any small AA cells. You can run a cable from a car cigarette lighter socket or from a Celestron or Sky-Watcher mobile power station. These contain a lead-acid battery and so are heavy. You can also use the larger power supplies used to start cars and inflate tyres. These are very heavy but they have the standard 12V socket that you see in cars for cigarette lighters and other accessories.  The connecting cable should have the car accessory plug at one end and a concentric plug at the other with the positive connected to the central pin. This is plugged into the socket on the base of the telescope. One of these cables is supplied with the telescope. 
       If you buy one of the 12V power packs, get yourself a 'Battery and Alternator Checker' sold usually in Halfords or from Amazon. They are more accurate than the LEDs built into the power supplies. When fully charged, lead-acid batteries have a P.D. of 12.5V or up to 13.5V. If it is only 12V the battery will only be partially charged.  Check the voltage with the charger turned off.
