work well on old electronic controls
Use these to clean old wafer switch contacts on electronic equipment. They do a nice job. Seen other people say that the tips come off but i did not have that problem.

Actual microfiber
Many other swabs from Amazon (I have three different ones on my desk) are actually made of foam. The foam ones just don't cut it for cleaning flux off PCBs. These are actual microfiber, and so long as you don't scrape them against anything sharp they will not leave any residue that is visible under a microscope.One very minor nitpick about these is that there is some give in the attachment of the microfiber to the tip, so it isn't attached all around the tip, only in some places. This makes it a bit harder to get in between fine pitch pins to clean. That being said, this is incredibly nitpicky, and these are the best ones I have found on Amazon so far, but there is always room for improvement.

THOUSANDS of times better than Q-Tip's for cleaning off flux.
They are like Micro-sponges cleaning alcohol off circuit boards.

Needs work
The actual tip of this product needs some work there isn’t much fabric there so that within itself limits it’s ability to clean also the little fabric that’s there tend to fall off easily needs more work
