We used this to line three different "horse trough" planters, and it was excellent. It is easy to cut to shape, and doesn't fall to pieces when handled (or attacked by nesting blue tits!). I also managed to sew it with garden twine to hold it in place in the troughs, and was very pleased with the outcome

This arrived this morning and I was surprised how small the packet was. What was even more surprising was how thin the coir was. Large holes of air allow you to look clearly through the coir. As a result I will have to use 2 or 3 layers of this to give sufficient thickness around the baskets.So was this really 4m? Not at all It will probably be sufficient for 2 or 3 baskets.Buyer beware

It's done the trick but the material is a little thin in places. I would have preferred the thickness to have been more consistent

Very diffacult to cut , coir breaking all the time . I would not recommend it unless you are a professional gardener
