This USB C to Mini DisplayPort cable is good quality. Unfortunately, it didn't work to hook my MacBook to a monitor, which is Mini DisplayPort, or to USB C. Make sure you review the cable specifications and ensure it will work for your use case.

This works well. It is compatible with my older macbook pro. It works even when attached to thunderbolt hub.

I bought this thinking it would be thunderbolt but when I contacted it didn’t work at all, it do only for the c connections that’s it?

This cable perfectly connected my Mac Mini to my Mini DisplayPort Dell 4k monitor. I also used the cable to connect my laptop to a portable display. Cable is made well and does what I needed.

This is tot he reviewer who left one star for trying to hook up a 2014 mini displayport mac to a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 LG monitor: This is not for that. This is for newer macs that use the USB-C connector on the mac side to displays that use Mini-DisplayPort inputs, using DP over Thunderbolt 3/4. That is only available in 2016 or newer macs, as stated in the description: "Compatible for MacBook Pro/Air 2024-2016, NOT for Thunderbolt 2"

This is exactly what I needed to run a portableTriple display setup on my Macbook Pro. It's waaay longer than I need but I just zip tied it at the length I need. I've had no issues with the cable at all. I did try to see if it would work for Mini display to USBC but I can confirm that the video will not run that way. Other than that everything is great with this cable.
