The clips work great for storing my Dewalt batteries.
This review is for their battery holder clips, NOT the charger which I have not purchased. I mounted them under the shelf above my work bench and they have worked well for storing my DeWalt batteries.

Decent budget-friendly alternative.
This charger puts out 2A at 22V when charging the 20V batteries. That's a lot less than the 4A - 6A from the quick-charger, but this also costs a lot less. It's also less expensive than the name-brand charger it replaces. If you don't need to charge batteries quickly, this is a good, cost-effective alternative. The internal construction of this charger is very straightforward. The circuit has a pair of decent high-voltage capacitors that constrain the transformer output and help protect the battery. There is not a lot of capacitance dedicated to smoothing the output, so the power supply is pretty noisy. That may be a consideration if you need a low-RF environment. It also emits an audible tone from the transformer and capacitor after the battery is charged. (It's just a little mosquito whine.)Finally, there is no active cooling. If mounted vertically, the case will at least allow for decent airflow. I found that the charger did not get especially warm when charging 5Ah batteries. The 2A limit on the output helps with that and should allow for a fairly long life, but I cannot speak to longevity yet. The review page also asked for a rating on battery life, but that would depend entirely on the batteries you are charging, since this charger has no battery of its own.Overall, this is a decent, inexpensive charger that I keep in the house for when I don't need to go out to the shop to use the quick-charger.

Works, slowly but surely
This charger works as expected, at a low rate of charging. It gets warm, but not excessively, and the battery does not heat up – as expected, at the low charging rate. Took about two hours on a 20V 6.5Ah battery. The red light on the charger is big and intrusive, visible in full daylight, for better or worst. There is an overheating / temperature protection mode, and by the drawing on the charger’s affixed label there seems to be a second, yellow LED light that gets active in this case. Never seen it lighting up in yellow, and hope it never will need to.The product page on amazon is the main source of info for this charger. The instructions are not great at all: one-side printed leaflet, all black on white text and no drawings or diagrams, no pictures. 75% of the instructions are warnings and disclaimers, then the rest is not specific about functionality, and the text keeps referring to “the battery” (not “the battery charger”) and “appliance”. Looks like “inspired” from somewhere else, with little applicability.Still, the charger works without overheating, and it does feel solidly build, thick plastic case. The battery is well secured when attached for charging. I am not happy about the instructions, but the product looks good.
