Perfect for your desktop mounted 5100. Very good quality and comes with sticky feet to keep it from sliding around your shack.

Outstanding, works great
It's the ideal accessory for this radio. It keeps the faceplate up off the desk, and at the perfect angle. It only takes a minute to set it up, important if you move your mobile from desk to vehicle periodically.I would recommend 100%. They also make a little stand for HT's that is equally good.

Perfect angle for viewing, strong construction, great price
I have a very old Icom IC-2820H, finding parts has been a nightmare, this remote controller mount fits great, comes with little rubber feet that keep it from sliding around, although I drilled holes in mine to hole it still as pushing buttons is a bit more than the little rubber feet can handle. Overall a great product

Works great, would be better with magnet mount
My only issue is that I can't magnet mount for easy transfer to my vehicle.

Great Purchase
This was a great purchase. My Icom ID-5100 fits it very well and the viewing angle is great. Even though this is not a complaint and just a small warning, some older users with not-so-great eyesight and hand coordination might find it to be a challenge to mount the head to the stand with the tiny screws supplied. Not Nifty's fault, because those were the only screws that fit the holes that Icom uses on the back of the head. But it can be a bit of a chore until you finally get it done. After you've accomplished that, it's a joy to use this stand. Well worth the money. I would buy again in a flash!

Works with IC-2730
I looked all over for a stand like this for the IC-2730, and the official one was out of stock everywhere.I took a chance and ordered this, figuring that I could drill new holes to make it work.Fortunately, the mounting holes are in exactly the right places for the 2730 as well.

My Favorite mobile radio
This radio is easy to use has excellent audio and volume. Programming is pretty easy and straight forward but do read the manual. It makes everything so much easier. DSTAR audio is excellent compared to Wires-x as well. The radio puts out plenty of power on both bands. The Menu is organized in an easy to navigate way and the touch screen makes it easy to quickly access the options you want to access. I bought this radio to use mobile and have the IC 9700 in my shack. I plan to get it setup for FT-8 as well to activate Parks on the Air and for Field Day just for fun. I typically activate both with my HF radios but want to try the VHF/UHF as well. It's a great radio that you will enjoy using for years.
