I needed an automatic feeder for my cat while I was out of town for a few days. I also needed a new fountain, as the one we had before wasn't working as well anymore. I ended up purchasing this bundle for several reasons; the value, the unanimity of the fountain's filter, and the features of the feeder. I'll review each below.Feeder:Pros-easy to program-easy to assemble and clean-multiple portion settings, so much customization with frequency and portion size-holds charge when disconnected from power.Cons-my enormous glutton cat tipped it over after one day of being gone. He is quite large, so I shouldn't be surprised about him being able to, but the feeder is light enough to be toppled even when full of food.-I did not expect to need to purchase batteries, but this was an oversight on my end. Disregard this complaint lol!Fountain:Pros-its cute, and you can clearly see the water line from all angles.-the light inside makes the water very visible and the glow is pleasant.-easy to clean-pretty universal filter, I'll have no problem finding replacmentscons-the hole through which the cord runs is placed weirdly low & it really reduces the capacity of the water basin-putting it together was a little difficult-no backup power reserve like the feeder. this would be VERY handy.Overall, I think the feeder is the best between the two, but the bundle is too good to really have many complaints about. I'll probably purchase another one of these sets for a gift soon!

Ok. So I was skeptical. It said it would release 10g plus or minus 2g. I weighed it. It’s 10g. That helps keep my cat on regular feedings. I have 4 feedings set up. Two with double (20g) portions and 2 with single (10g) portions. We supplement with wet food so this works perfectly. It keeps time well. And my cat comes running when the food drops. Sometimes she’s there a minute before it drops. And we’ve only been using it for 4 days. Which likely means I got the times and portions approximately right for her eating cycles. The only strange thing is the food preserver. I feel like this plastic packet of moisture absorbers could be done differently. The instructions are a bit weird for this step too. And I’m unclear about how long this packet lasts and or when to determine it needs to be replaced. We got the version with the water fountain too, which seems to work well. Our cat seems happy. And I don’t have to do much for feeding or watering. Price was right too. I also noted when I filled the dispenser, so I can see how long it lasts. Based on what has been dispensed so far, I’m guessing about 3 weeks. I’m hoping the food really does stay fresh for as long.

My cats used to wake me up at 6am to feed them, now with this feeder I can keep sleeping and not worry about feeding them. It’s really easy to set up with the portions and times, I loved that you can personalize the audio recording it plays when its time to feed them.

I like the feeder! It’s very convenient when feeding my kitten if I’m not home but I’ve noticed a small issue with my model.I have programmed it to auto feed her and sometimes it just randomly lets food go when it’s not even time to feed her yet.Not sure if anyone else has had this issue so that’s why it gets 4 stars from me

This machine is very easy to assemble and quite user-friendly. It even lets you record your voice so your cat can recognize it, so it knows when to come and eat. My cat was a little suspicious at first, but got used to it after a day. Highly recommend this automatic feeder for a cat.

Other reviewers are saying the same. The time does not change and stays at what I set it to originally.Useless and will be returned because this was needed for away feeding. The timer doesn’t change making that impossible.I have a feeling they discounted this because of these faulty units. That’s wrong…

Great product but after 48 hours, my dad’s cat refused to eat out of it. He was just too scared of it. So I gave it to my daughter to use for her cats.

I love the that I don’t have worry about over feeding my 2 cats or simply forgetting because of my busy schedule. I just refill once a week. Both of my cats know when it’s time to eat. The only thing I don’t like is the water fountain filter. I can’t find replacement filters for it. I’ve looked everywhere. I’ve read booklet it doesn’t mention size or where to get replacement. It’s divided into three sections not 4 like all other filters. I’ve ordered some other kind from Amazon that is close to size and hope it works. Other than this I like both feeder and water fountain.
