These are used on a Stihl MS290. The difference between this full-chisel chain and the original Stihl "safety" chain is substantial. Much less effort is required to do the same amount of cutting. This chain practically fills the air with wood chips and pine scent. After installation and more than 30 hours of work, this chain is still surprising me with its performance. I bought a second one as a spare in case these might become hard to find or prices go up (at the current price it's a good deal). If you know how to cut then this "non-safety" chain need not be a concern. I've detected a bit of uneven stretch and as with any chainsaw chain if you don't watch the stretch and adjustments then that chain can go off the rails.

Working on a project that involved removing 45 trees in three days, chains that Seriously Meant It were mandatory.I ordered a 24" chain from this brand first to try, and promptly ordered more for the other saws immediately after testing it out. They're well made, have a nice edge, sharpen easily, and cut through unsuspecting trees like butter.Highly recommend. Some of them arrive in boxes, others in bags, but they're all in great shape and work perfectly.

Haven't run the chain down yet, so not sure how it will compare to Stihl or Oregon chains, but it cuts fast and clears chips fine. Cheap and no complaints yet.

I had been using the chain that came with the saw. It's a Craftsman saw made by Husqvarna, but the saw would go dull pretty fast. I needed to hog out some trees fast so I got this full chisel and it works great.

Perfect fit good quality.

This is a ripper of a chain! Stays sharp and cuts like a beast. Be careful as it is full chisel and may kickback more than others. If you use a chainsaw regularly, give this chain a try!

I love these chains! They cut better than the Stihl ones! Very impressed. The only thing is the last two times I have ordered them they didn’t send me the correct number of chains I ordered. That gets frustrating and you have to deal with customer support to try to get another chain sent to you.
