Great Affordable Option for HD700
This is my second cable from NewFantasia although I’m starting to see a lot of these cables available under different names. In any case I was happy with my cables for the HD600 so I decided to get one for my HD700.First off I should have ordered the longer cable. The 1.2m cable is just a tad bit too short for me and it constantly comes up short in all my uses.Overall the cable is great. The fabric wrapped Cable feels thick and durable and the termination points are metal and plastic and also feel reasonably durable. They fit well into my HD700’s and don’t seem to noticeably affect the quality of my audio. I like that they terminate into a 3.5mm plug and include a screw on 6.3mm adapter.Overall I’m happy with the cable. It is somewhat affordable, seems well made, and most importantly it works. I’ll update my review to reflect whether the cable stands the test of time but for now I can happily recommend it.

Excellent cheaply priced replacement
I have been wanting to order one of these for a very long time, I was just afraid to pull the trigger. I was thinking that anything this cheaply priced could not be worth much (quality wise). I have seen some replacement cables that cost a very high price, and not last too long. Even Sennheiser's replacement cable seems to get poor reviews (in some cases). To my (pleasant) surprise, I decided to purchase them, and I am happy to report that they are very good quality, and sound great too. I don't want to be misleading here because I wanted this cable so that I could listen to my HD700's on portable devices. This means that I cant qualify the sound quality on these when playing with the best sound possible. To me though, they sound just like the original cable. I use them on my Samsung Note 9 phone, iPod touch 5th gen, FiioX3 2nd gen, and Fiio X5 1st gen. Sometimes I will use one of my Fiio portable amps in this mix too.I have only just received them so I also can't comment yet on durability, but the look and feel of of the cables seem very well done, and seems like a lot of thought was put into the making of these. They look very professionally done, and would have expected to pay more for these. All the stress points look to be protected very well, and the material seems to have been picked very well for the use they were meant for. I see these lasting for a long time, but only time will tell on that.Overall, I recommend this cable for a replacement, or a second, portable, cable for your HD700's.

The build quality seems to be very good. The braiding is some type of plastic
I purchased this cable because my stock sennheiser cable was cutting out at the 1/4 inch side and to repair it i would have to destroy the 1/4 male end. So before i did this i decided to try out these inexpensive cables first. I saw they didn't have many reviews so I reached out to them to see if they were willing to send me a pair to review. They declined saying it was against amazon policy which I'm not familiar with so I promptly purchased these with my own money. The build quality seems to be very good. The braiding is some type of plastic, and the hardware seems to be aluminium and not plastic, so that is nice. It also comes with a 1/4 inch adapter which is very nice. The adapter is very light weighing not much more than a coin which was odd. Usually they are heavier. As far as sound quality, sorry to say but it is extremely poor. I tested with several songs, but the main song being creep by radiohead on tidal which is hifi audio. With the sennheiser cables the bass was punchy and direct, instruments were clear and separate, and the the mids and highs were perfectly defined. Perfect hd700 sound. The volume was about 75% which is about as high as you can go on the hd700 before they fatigue your ears. As for the Newfantasia, everything was dull. No instrument separation, the bass was flat and 2 dimensional, the mids were hollow and the highs tinny. Right as the song starts is when you get that punch from the bass and it simply did not exsist at all with the new fantasia. Like it was coming out of a cellphone speaker or something. It simple transported sound. I was amazed that the cable has such a massive effect on sound. Usually people say expensive cables are just "snake oil" but at least in this case inexpensive cables can be very poor.If you need a back up cable or your not concerned with the sound quality of your $750 headphones, then I say go ahead. But if youre looking for a replacement for you stock cables and desire to utilize the capability of your headphones, then you may want to consider saving your money for the expensive ones. As for me these are on their way back. Ive also seen some cases where cheap cables break inside of the headphone and you have to use superglue and a stick to get it out. Scary stuff. Also the company was very nice and respectful when I contacted them. I would reccomend them as a retailer for sure.UPDATE:Updated to 4 stars because the company reached out to me and gave me a replacement. The 4 stars is for the replacement. Sound quality wise the replacements are great. However they are different cables then the ones i first got.

Better performance than I expected - by a mile!
The very fragile cables that came with my Sennheiser 700 headphones broke. I still don't know how. Anyway I went looking for a replacement set of cables but one source was selling their cables for over $300 and and another source wanted $160 for replacement Sennheiser cables. I wasn't in the mood to pay that much. I was in one of my cheap moods. So I bought bought these and right off the bat, these cables sounded at least as good as the Sennheiser cables. There was good music definition and soundstage that was all my tin ears could handle. I'm going to have a tough time justifying the cost of stereophile cables after listening to these "cheap cables". I expect the sound to improve with time as they "burn in".I only gave the duration rating 4 stars because I've only had the cables for two hours but they've got to be at least as durable as the Sennheiser cables. These cables are probably one of the best bargains I've ever seen.

replacement cable
Seems to be well made . Is a lot smaller than the Sennheiser oem cable. I couldn't get a signal through on the quarter inch screw on tip but cable worked okay with just the eighth inch plugthe sound is okay but the think the oem cable the sound was a lot fuller.
