Insta360 Quick Release Mount, Compatible with Insta360 X3/ONE RS/ONE X2/ONE R/ONE X.

I bought this for an Insta360 X4 360-degree camera. I have the Insta360 powered selfie stick too and find it annoying in cold and damp weather to have to keep twisting it onto the tripod-hole - I often worry that it'll end up with me dropping the camera too. So I bought this product and can definitiely say I'm more than happy with it. One of the main reasons for that is that it's not too tall so I can still use the same short USB power/shutter cable. Also, it seems pretty well made and I like having the lock button to stop accidental detachment, even though I doubt that would ever happen (but belt and braces rule I say!).There's probably only two things I'd be able to say about it that could be considered negative. One is that it does wobble just a tiny bit where the two parts join. However, I think that's more noticable as the X4 is very tall and slender, so probably for all other Insta360 action cams it wouldn't even be noticable (and it's definitiely not a real issue so don't get me wrong).But the one thing I do find a bit annoying is that the magnets only allow the plate to be attached to the camera one way around - do it the other way and the magnets repel. OK, I can see that some people may want that to make sure they always have the camera pointing a specific direction on some tripod mounts without looking. In fact, I want my X4 oriented so the screen is on the same side of the powered selfie stick as the shutter button, so you'd think this magnet thing would be good.But there's nothing on the product to show you which way around to orient the camera plate when you're fitting it. So I ended up putting the plate on the camera one way round, only to find that sods law meant I'd chosen the wrong 50/50 choice and had to take it back off again after finding the base part was repelling it. However, I know that's only an issue if you change the plate between cameras as for me once it's on it'll likely stay on the X4. However, it was a bit unexpected and I think isn't a useful design feature for me (assuming it's not just a fault in magnet orientation in the model I received).Anyway, due to those very slight negative things I knocked a star off what would otherwise have been a six out of five star review, so sorry Insta360 but five stars is all you get.

Excellent product, this makes a huge difference to the size and bulk when connecting an Ace Pro to the selfie stick or Mantis Pod, for example.It is well made, slim and connects quickly and securely to the camera and whatever accessories you are connecting. the magnet is strong - more so than the multi mounts.A good investment when using the Ace Pro

This is very sturdy and locks so won’t come undone accidentally so give great piece of mind that your camera won’t fall off I use this on my motorbike and holds up perfectly

I film a lot of POV's on Rollercoasters and on rides & Theme parks. This accessory makes the cameras footprint slightly smaller than the included QD mount. The feature of having the choice between a standard tripod 1/4 mount and the action mount is worth its weight in gold. The camera clicks in place much easier feels more secure on this mount. As a few times in the past on the included mount I find it doesn't click home as easily. I immediately replaced the standard Silicone pad with the included Mute Pad for less camera noise and this works well, just be sure to remove the included pad (they're not reusable once removed)By far the best feature is the lock, it was one of the main reasons I brought this, Although unlikely I was terrified I'd knock a QD latch and watch the camera fly off. The lock feature ensure this cannot happen. My only complaint is how its so expensive for something so small.

Used to connect to a go-pro suction mount, placed on the roof of a car. Totally secure and very easy to connect/disconnect.

Very good materials, excellent quality product, great system. I wish they sale the bottom part only so I can set just the bottom part anywhere I want and swap camera position when ever I need to.

The media could not be loaded. It's smaller than expected but it feels premium as it's metal, heavy compactPerfect for a 360-camera

What a same being a genuine insta product. Seems the magnet that holds the wings down has completely unseated - going from the ruggedness of the camera itself and using it for some time. Getting this locking mount I’d have thought I’d have just as little issue but not the case sadly. Will update if a resolution found
