The story for filming the music video to promote Jessie’s solo tour called for Katie and Jessie to have a heavy make-out session while in bed while he sang Dirty Like Me to her. And what an electric make-out session it was by how Jessie and Katie were both slayed by the attraction.Their sizzling attraction was quite apparent to the two of them, as well as all the off-screen viewers of the music video. This one-in-a-lifetime opportunity turned into a life-changing event for both her and Jessie. Jessie’s team proposes that Katie accompanies Jessie on his tour and pretends to be his newest love interest, only for the fans and camera moments. Their hearts were not to get involved. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and Jessie and Katie will never be the same. The road to their HEA was a rocky one. Family, band drama, and insecurities caused problems between Jessie and Katie, as both needed to zone in on what the future would mean for Katie Bloom and Jessie Mayers. What path Jessie and Katie decide will determine their future apart or together. I call Dirty Like Me by Jaine Diamond a rockstar classic since it is a book I re-read and re-listened to religiously in a book and audiobook at least two times a year. Readers are excited to read any new book by Jaine Diamond as soon as it gets published.

This was the first book in this series that I read. I fell in love with it. Jessie Mayes is an extremely interesting character who would make any girl drool when he was around. Katie doesn't seem to notice but she is hired for his video and they hit it off and she agrees to be his girlfriend for his solo tour. Katie appears to be your average girl but has more going on for her than she knows. This book and any book by Janie Diamond grabs the reader and draws them into the world of the characters and always leaves you wanting more. This is a great book that will lead you into reading the whole series and the what I like to call spin off series that Janie has written since this book. I am always left waiting for the next book to come out. Buy this book and read it you will not regret it. It will open up a whole new world for you to read about and feel like you are a main character.

5/5 ⭐4/5 🌶️I'm a sucker for fake dating and for rockstar romances, throw them together and I'm obsessed. Jesse and Katie were so freaking good. From the moment he complimented her cherry pie the chemistry was absolute fire. I loved the constant dance between them while they tried to keep things all business, especially the bet. They were so cute and so fun. The teasing and challenging was incredibly hot, I couldn't get enough. When they finally gave in I wanted to hoop and holler with pure joy.Towards the end things got a little deeper and darker... We got to meet Jessa and Katie met Elle, neither meeting was sunshine and rainbows. But Jesse finally telling Katie how he felt was everything, I loved it. I also loved Jessa's epilogue, I was so happy to see that her and Katie were becoming friends. I'm super excited about her and Brody's story, and to find out what secrets Jessa is hiding.

You can't help but fall madly in love with Jesse and Katie. Follow our FMC and MMC as they take us on a US tour with Jesse's band Dirty.From the start Jesse is smitten with Katie. Having the most adorable meet-cute.As a tactic to sell his new solo album he propositions Katie to be in a fake relationship.The sexual tension is top-notch. And their spicy interactions are so delicious. Woven within all this amazing spice is a truly engaging story, where you find yourself falling in love with all the characters woven within the dirty universe. Jesse and Katie are both battling the unease in their personal life... neither of them knowing they will soon be each other's salvation.

This isn’t the typical hard living, rock star story. It has depth and a host of interesting characters. Katie and Jesse meet in the most bizarre of ways, but the way she works into his life is great for both of them. It is not an easy ride; they have complicated lives-especially Jesse, but they eventually make it work. There are so many different dynamics in place as Katie learns to navigate a world that is full of experiences she could never dream of.Jesse has to untangle himself from one relationship that is as ingrained in his life as can possibly be. There is no way to make a clean break, but he knows he has to move on regardless. Watching him fall for Katie is a sweet and hot love story.This was a great book!! Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this story. The rock band/musician is a hot angle and it may be my favorite romance subgenre now. That's actually no small complement because I LOVE fantasy in all forms so for me to actually like a real world, modern day story line is saying a lot.Jaine Diamond is a good and engaging writer. The main characters in this story Katie and Jesse come together with a spark that doesn't stop throughout the book. I also like that Katie stands on her own -- I hate that I'm going to die without you thing.Dirty is the name of the band Jesse is in, and there will be other character/stories as well, which is fun and this book introduces you to some interesting possibilities.
