We were planning to use this "dimmable" rope light as an indirect light source in our media room, tucked inside crown molding that is mounted 1 foot below the ceiling. Our other set have it up after 20+ years.This set you are considering starts to be if great quality and will serve you well.The problem is even though it is described as "dimmable," I can assure you that it is not. You can select between the three "color temperatures" by cycling the power on and off to find your preference. There is no device on the transformer to set the brightness and operating them via a dimmer switch causes them to malfunction.Describing these as "dimmable" is not accurate They are "color selectable." Happy hunting.It is likely a five-star product but we gave it three due to the fact that it is not actually dimmable.

Received this product and installed it. Remote does not function fully, it is not very bright and failed within the first couple of hours of use. A waste of money!

I picked this LED light rope from Raweao to help illuminate a portion of the crawl space that doesn't have any other light, and what a difference! It was straightforward to mount it in place to the underside of the floor joists and it hasn't sagged much since, so I got it lagged down snug enough. Plugging and unplugging it from a service outlet was easy, and I might give it its own switched outlet this year so I can leave it plugged in but unpowered when I don't need it, and engage dimming while in use. I appreciate the brightness and the fact that it's not so concentrated that you can't keep it in your field of vision while using it. Some LED products I've tried seem to go right for being as bright as possible at the cost of everything else, but the design of this light rope is such that it strikes a good balance between the illumination it offers and its overall length. For what I needed it to do, it was a solid value. Where it is covered all the time, I can't speak to UV durability or any of the other wear factors that would come with weather exposure. I'm hopeful that it will serve me well for a long time for the way I'm using it. I'll update accordingly if I run into any issues in the future, but for now I'm very pleased.

I'm using this striplight on a flight of stairs for safety reasons, and the bottom-most section was submerged in a flood a week ago. We lost a lot of belongings in that flood, but this strip light wasn't one of them. It's unscathed and still lighting that staircase very well.

Amazing light set!! Such an amazing length which provides for lighting a large project area. They are bright but the warmth of the lights can be easily adjusted by simply unplugging and then plugging back in. They can be attached by the adhesive backing but there are also some clips included should that be needed. The electrical needs are provided by the attached wall plug, so no other power source has to be purchased. The strip can be cut to your required length as well. This is a quality LED light strip that is well made and certainly well worth the reasonable price. I highly recommend this product.

This is incredibly well made and sealed for the elements. Easy to change the brightness with simply unplugging and replugging it back in to the outlet. No need to fuss over a remote or other ways to change the brightness. We were thinking this would be perfect under the kitchen cabinets, however this is far surpassing our expectations of what we were getting when ordering this. This product can be used outdoors! This will be perfect for our outdoor seating area, and can be trimmed for needed length making this look even nicer and clean in appearance. BBQ's will have beautiful ambiance now!
