Product is only good for light wood like cedar. It will not split oak which is why we purchased. I would not recommend this product. Advertising is not accurate.

Wall Mounted Kindling Splitter is very easy to use. It works well to take a small piece of wood and turn it into smaller pieces. Wood Kindling Splitter does make good kindling…which is what it is for.

What I like best about this Wood Kindling Splitter is that we can take standard fireplace split logs and split them down again into halfs and quarters. This makes for a nicer, faster, hotter, less smokey fire that starts easy looks nice. Just add a hammer.

This Wall Mounted Kindling Splitter makes splitting kindling easy! My biggest gripe about enjoying a fire in my fireplace is the (formerly) frustrating process of splitting logs down to smaller sizes to build and maintain the fire. Using an axe or hatchet is not my skill set!

I love this Wall Mounted Kindling Splitter. Wood Kindling Splitter works great. I typically take the ax to larger pieces so I can fit it in this splitter. It has saved me time, effort and energy. There are two holes on bottom of this unit so you can use lag bolts to fasten it down to a stump or other base. Kudos to the Australian woman who came up with this unit. It's a clear winner! I gave it all 5 stars. She earned it!
