The product did what it was supposed to do!

I actually bought this not because I needed the specific Fumei connector, but rather because I was looking for a coiled RJ45 on one end. I cut off the Fumei connector, and the wires were easy to strip and re-use for my own application.The Fumei connector is held together by three screws. It was easy to take apart, and see the individual wires connecting to each pin with solder. I think this Fumei connector was assembled well and should last forever.Quick thoughts on the cable: when it arrived, the coils were tight, almost too tight! The cable is fairly thick, but it's approximately the diameter of an ordinary ethernet cable, so that is to be expected.After pulling the cable apart a few times, the coils loosened up a bit. It still coils back to nearly fully closed, but there is just a bit more give in the cable, and it is more flexible overall.For my unusual application, this is going to work perfectly.

worked great adapting the md-100 mic to a FT-450D transceiver. Has decent amount of length for desktop positioning also.
