Works in unraid
Needed to add additional Hard disks to my unraid server.This worked straight out the box, plugged in sata drives and all showing in unraid without needing any extra configuration.

Good fast card.
Bought to fix incompatibility issue with WD Red 4TB drives and my Asus Z9PE-D16 motherboard (drives constantly dropping out)Currently using it with 5x WD Red 4TB in ZFS array with great results.Recognised immediately by Linux (CentOS 6.5)Note that this package doesn't ship with SFF8087 fan out cables so you will need to purchase them separately.

Good price for an excellent LSI product
Good price for an excellent LSI product. It's a great HBA for 8 internal disks, and provides excellent bandwidth and latency (at least on Linux). Installation consisted of plugging in card, connecting cables, and turning on. All disks (6TB) recognised, and working out of the box.

No issues
Plug and play that’s is! Add Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX and SAS cable. Computer spec is MSI B450 MORTAR MAX, AMD 3600G and window 11 no issues at all.Update: card move to lga1700 no problem.
