Bewitching in Boots (Fiery Tales)

Once again another lovely story in the Fiery Tales has stirred that irresistible need to drop everything and READ Beautiful in Boots. Elisabeth and Tristan’s story is spicy, simmers on the page and leaves me wanting more. Armed with her lucky boots, nothing, not even the irresistible Tristan, will defeat Elisabeth, a woman who knows what she wants and gets what she wants. Tristan has met his match when the delightful Elisabeth sets her sights on him. Sprinkled with lovely and spirited secondary characters such as Claire, Elisabeth’s sister and Gabriel, Tristan’s brother, this tale shines as if polished with champagne. I loved it, and I wanted more. I can’t wait for the next in the series, The Marquis’s New Clothes. Lila DiPasqua is an auto buy for me. No one writes historical romance like her.

As another reviewer said - once you read Lila DiPasqua you are hooked. I search every time I am on Amazon for her books. I've read all of hers and impatiently wait for the next. This one was just as awesome as the others but may be my favorite so far. The Fiery Tales are just that. So hot you need a fan just to continue reading.This one was about Elizabeth - the King's favorite illegitimate daughter and her desire for Tristan. The sexual tension between the two make this one very erotic tale!!. I could not stop reading - just had to see how it all ended

I loved this hot tale of the king's favorite daughter Elisabeth, who likes to dress like a man to ride horseback and swordfight. She uses her need for more advanced sword fighting lesson as an excuse to go to Tristan, the former head of her father's guards who has be injured and replaced. She has been enamored of him forever and wants him reinstated but his spirits and his confidence must be lifted first.They begin a hot affair that is very good for him in many ways, but will it accomplish all that it is meant to?

This story has steamy sex scenes, but the couple is not very likeable. She is scheming and manipulative, and he is just cold and uncaring. It was hard to care if they found their HEA. They did, but it was difficult to believe that either one of them truly loved each other. If you are looking for steamy sex, this has it. But if you are looking for romance, it is not here.

I love strong women characters I love tough men who yield to just the right woman. Its a good tale. I wish it went a little longer though. Which isn't saying anything bad but a compliment to the book

I love Lila DiPasqua! Her books are pretty spicy and very engaging. This one does not disappoints. I do wish it was a bit longer, and that there was a little more development to the story, but for a quick good read it's certainly the ticket!

Short but hot. That is Lila DiPasqua tales. She writes such unique and fiery stories. Once you read her books you are well and truly hooked
