These conversation hearts have a good mix of traditional sayings and modern slang. The "dot matrix" font is okay, but sort of weird. The words are also seemingly printed onto the hearts very haphazardly. They aren't centered, and some are difficult to read.The hearts are thick and large. You really get to chew and taste each one. Each color is a different flavor, and I'm 99.9284119% sure it's not just my imagination.There were a total of 44 hearts in the bag I received. A few had chips, but candy in a bag being damaged isn't surprising, and the slight malformations didn't detract from the taste.

Since the item page has good photos, and it has a good description of this product, I will not bother adding pictures or more of a description.This is one of the staples for Valentine's Day. These are large hearts with messages stamped into the hearts. The candy tastes that same as when I was a kid, but they should have better quality control as far as where it is stamped, not in the same place on the candies, and sometimes 1/2 off the heart etc. They should also have better writing as far as fonts etc. With technology these days, they can upgrade the equipment and make it look a little better.

So unless you know off hand how much 5 oz is, that is definitely misleading. 5 oz is a small bag, about 9 servings of 5 pieces. I can walk into a Walmart and get a 10 oz bag for 13.50 on sale (listed at 19.99 normal price)...so the price isn't completely off, but it's still misleading.That said, these were fairly fresh- not crunchy hard like you get sometimes. They were softer, and didn't hurt the teeth. Flavor is ok, I mean, are conversation hearts known for flavor? Green and purple taste best.

This review is for a Large Conversation Hearts 5 Ounce Bag. Sugary sweet powdery hearts in pastel colors. They are slightly bigger than the ones I'm used to, but that's fine. They all have sayings printed on them. I like the orange flavored ones best. Perfect for Valentine's Day. So nostalgic!

We have been getting Brach's candy hearts every Valentine's Day as long as I can remember. The difference with these are that they are much bigger than the regular conversation hearts. These have fun sayings on them, and it's fun to read them aloud before popping one in your mouth. We sometimes will leave one for each other in a surprise place to be discovered. These are just like the Brach's conversation hearts you know and love, just bigger!

The media could not be loaded.  Hm. So these are definitely conversation hearts. They taste like conversation hearts. They're shaped like conversation hearts. They're made with the three separate sugars of conversation hearts: sugar, corn syrup, and dextrose, along with the various flavorings and dyes that conversation hearts have. They look almost like the conversation hearts I received when I was a child, lots of many years ago. Almost. But not. Maybe this is standard now, but I don't remember conversation hearts having their sayings printed on them with a font and a style that looks like a grocery store cash register receipt. There's an offhand, "yeah whatever" casualness to both the sayings and the placement of them – never mind that many are very faint - that it rather undoes the original point. It annoys much more than it pleases. They will still get eaten! They will still be read and still be eaten. But I won't order them again. The point is to celebrate a particular, once a year holiday, not just to have something sweet. Conversation hearts have never been tasty enough on their own to rush out and buy just to eat. Maybe I'm out of date, but I do kind of think that these details do matter.
