Good enough I bought a second pair
I wear a size 7 mens and they are hard to find. I wore the first pair for a month and got a second pair while they were still on sale. At a sale price of $50 I really like them and cant beat that price for the quality. At regular price of $80 I might not have bought the second pair (yet). These seem every bit as good as my Keens that I paid $90 for on sale.Holding up just fine after 2 months of daily walks on blacktop.Fit like a size 7 should for a hiker with room for thick socks and an extra cushion under my sensitive big toe. They might be too big as a dress shoe with very thin socks. I am in between 6.5 and 7 medium measured shoe size.Nice removable insole and pass my garden hose over the top test for water proof.

Quality you can depend on.
I always wear Columbia trail shoes when I am in the desert, even when I am cycling on the trails which I do a lot of. I prefer waterproof as they don't seem to let in as much dust. In the past I have found them very hard wearing, in fact I have never worn a pair out, they always seem to hold up for years. I'm only buying new ones because the price is so good. I usually machine wash them and leave them dry in the Arizona sun. The soles are fairly rigid and good for rocky terrain. I'm a 9 and they fit fine. I haven't tried this model before, but they are very similar to the last pair and I'm sure they will be as durable.

Nice shoes with great grip and waterproof quality
I bought these shoes right before my Europe and India travel. These are my first Columbia shoes. I used it for hiking in Swiss trails and then in India. I found it very comfortable and has great grip. Perfect for cold and rainy season. It worked perfect in sub zero temperature too. Sometimes shoe lace was not staying tied. However making double lock on laces, it stayed tight. I had to repurchase 0.5 size over than my normal size. I must recommend buying these shoes.

I wear a size 14 and I recommend ordering a size bigger if possible
I wore these for a few days before I left for Scout Camp and for the entire week we were at camp. The shoes are a bit snug and there is NO cushion when you walk. My feet hurt after only wearing them for a few hours each day and I would take them off when I was able to to give my feet a break. I will try an insert to see if that helps with the lack of cushion. I wear a size 14 and I recommend ordering a size bigger if possible. I bought a cheep pair of slip on rubber slip-on sandals for the shower and they had more cushion to them when I walked.

Move along nothing to buy here. Too small. Uncomfortable.
Ordered size 11.5 against sellers recommendat ion of 11. Tight in the toe box loose in the heel. Little padding in footbed, cosmetic flaws in toe top netting. Also ordered a waterproof slipon from Merrill same size. Too big. believe the same person who engineered the "blow your horn everytime you lock your car noise pollution idea, must have designed the rounded sole and heel on the Merrills. You'd be more stable walking on six Inch heels. Rolled an ankle in the first 50 feet! There's a reason shoes have flat stable bottoms! Sending back. Believe my shoe buying will move back to brick and mortar.

Waterproof and Great Tread for Slippery Hikes
The hike I took these things on was on the beach, and large sections were across wet, smooth rocks of varying sizes. Honestly, it was a broken ankle waiting to happen, especially with a big ol' pack on your back. Beautiful hike, but awful on the ankles. Anyway, these shoes were a godsend. I bought them because the reviews said they did well in slippery conditions and they really, really did. The waterproof-ness is also verified. My shoes stayed dry and well ventilated the whole time. There were many moments where I probably should have fallen but the tread on these shoes held fast. They stayed tied pretty well, and the only negative I could find was that I should have gotten better arch supports, or a 3rd party insert, as the one that comes in it is just thin foam. Still though, very glad to have these on the trail with me.
