No complaints. Good amount for a great price. I used this in my speculoos cookie spice mix, and saved some for my coffee. Seems fresh to me, very pungent-in a good way!

This product when received was fresh, and very fragrant. Served my purposes well. The only comment I would make is to package it in smaller weights as this was way more than I needed at the time. Hopefully it will still retain its wonder flavor and aroma over time. I repacked it into a glass jar and stored it in dark cabinet. Hopefully that will allow it to last longer.

We use this for making German Brotgeweurz (Bread Spices). Ground Anise is one of several spices that are mixed, and then added to the dry ingredients when making bread. The bread is delicious, and this Ground Anise is so very aromatic. The kitchen is filled with the smell when opening the bag.We made a bread late yesterday when this arrived and it is top quality, evenly ground, colorful and very aromatic. It is by far the best ground Anise I have ever bought. This is a top quality product at a great price. I think it is a super value and I give it 5 stars.
