Very cute but way to expensive. I would only buy this if price was about 10 dollars

This starter knitting kit has really soft yarn, which is great for someone who is just beginning! . I also noticed the bamboo needles are very smooth and easy to use. The instruction manuals are easy to pull up on my phone and are extremely detailed. This is the first time knitting for me so it seas very helpful. They even include some videos to help with tricky steps. Great for children or adults of all ages. Was very affordable considering the quality and what’s included.

I am looking forward to following what seem to be no-brainer instructions even for a grandpa!

It’s a nice kit to start with, in theory. After working with it though-I realized the yarn is too thin, and the sticks are too narrow. Save money, and buy some “bulky” yarn, 10 mm sticks and watch a YouTube video on how to knit. YouTube and other supplies were MUCH MORE helpful, and less frustrating.

This is a great value for someone who is just starting out! Everything you need to get started all wrapped up in a little box. I really love the option to print your instructions if that is how you learn. My 10 year old is excited to try making the scarf.

Ordered this because I’m a knitter and my daughter wanted to learn. She’s a college student so when this includes everything needed (except scissors) I thought it would be a great start. The yarn is a nice color and feels like a cross between a cotton and acrylic. It isn’t a super tight twist so I could potentially see it unwinding while working with it if you aren’t careful. You get 5 balls which is supposed to be enough for all three projects; I’ll have to update once we make them all.The needles feel similar to my bamboo ones that were more expensive. They are smooth and hold the yarn well so your stitches shouldn’t slip off. They aren’t the highest quality but are an adequate starter pair of needles.You also receive a small bag of stitch markers and a darning needle to sew up your gloves and hat. They are a decent quality and the needle is metal; you never get metal just the cheap plastic ones.The included book includes written directions as well as pictures. On the cover is a QR code with a link to videos and the directions again. That was unexpected and the videos were short but well chosen.I did try to follow the pattern and it seemed clear and easy to follow. I also clicked on the video to verify I was doing the scarf pattern correctly (which I was) since I haven’t done it before.This was a good project box for a beginner. I would recommend someone who isn’t easily frustrated since you do have to use both hands to work two needles and yarn. The price is valid for everything included.

Gave this to my mom for Christmas and she found the yarn and wooden sticks very useful. She’s never knitted before but after a month she’s making her scarf :)
