As my first mid boot (always had low shoes), these boots were really great in my trip to the Tien Shan. Bought these 4 days before our trip and broke them in for that period, but it doesn't really seem necessary since they are comfortable from the start. Was out walking up and down slopes in Kyrgyzstan for practically nine days in varying weather conditions (under mild rain for many consecutive days, and few times in dry desert-like environment under the heat of the sun) and surfaces (mud, rock, dry sand) and they really held up well. Despite being in wet conditions for several days in a row, my feet were never soaked even if I felt that the shoe was actually absorbing water in the fabric. I wasn't too worried with stepping on some shallow streams. My feet were not very sweaty during the very dry and hot days. Each shoe is still in one piece. Definitely worth the money.

I have had these a while now and they are fantastic. They were very comfy first time out and keep my feet dry. Perfect fit after ordering a size bigger than my normal shoe size as recommended on the ordering website.Since writing this I have measured my foot carefully and the size works out 1 size bigger than all my old shoes which still fit. Either sizes have shifted or my foot has expanded with age and my old shoes have all stretched. My advice would now be to measure your foot, use a size to cm chart, and order the right size unless you like to wear extra thick socks. I use 1000 mile socks with size 8 boots and I measure a size 8.

The boots are amazing, a little bigger than I thought but fine with a pair of big socks. I did a 40km three peaks challenge and emerged without a blister. Very comfortable, waterproof and lightweight. Great seller, fast shipment, would buy from again.

Before I bought this boot I did some legwork and tried different sizes in the stores. Therefore, the boot fits as expected.I have not tried it in extreme hiking conditions, but it is comfortable, and waterproof from my experience.It was a replacement of my old Lowa which I used for 15 years. Although bear in mind, I have not used my old boots often.I am very satisfied to use it in cold urban conditions, and in hiking.The communication with the supplier in Germany was also good and delivered quickly.

These are the most comfortable boots I have had in a long time, I walk around 8 miles everyday and they offer support, comfort and protection when hill walking. A bit more expensive than in the shops but the shop didn't have my size.

I have wide feet and found these far too narrow for my normal size. Had to send back which I was gutted about because they look lovely!
