These balls are fantastic. Better than Pro V1 for me.
I’m a scratch golfer who has been playing Pro V1s for years. Early on I loved the feel of the normal Pro V but they spin too much on wedges — just would constantly overspin the ball and back up too much to be precise on distances. Seemed every shot had to be a knockdown to stop it dead reliably. I switched the to X and played it for years. Better ball flight off the driver and more controllable spin off full wedges, but I gave up softer feel and higher spin rates on delicate green side and bunker shots. After trying tons of balls I found the Tour BXS and it’s amazing for my game. I have so much more control off full wedges, no more pulling the ball back 15-20 feet and dreading false fronts. I can hit full wedges that one hop, pull and stop, knock downs that stop dead and runners that check and release. But the magic is that they spin *better* around the greens on short touch shots. How I can get less spin than the Pro V on full wedges and more spin on low velocity chips is beyond me.Haven’t noticed any distance gains or loss at all - which is surprising. Hit everything nearly the same distance, even off the driver. I sum it up as being the best of the Pro V and the Vx in a single ball. The fact it’s so inexpensive is a huge bonus but I’m buying it for performance anyway.Your mileage may vary, but if you’re a low handicapper that’s always played Pro Vs, you should definitely give these a try. You’re welcome. :)UPDATE: figured I’ve give some more info to maybe help others understand my ball fitting. 49yo, +1 hdcp, driver 111mph, 285+ yd, 5-iron 195yd, wedge 145yd - all draws with medium-high launch trajectory (stock swing.). Irons are ancient TaylorMade R11s, driver ancient first-gen Rocketballz, Vokey wedges. Yes, 2020 is finally time for new equip. :) Oh and if you are wondering why the heck I am bothering to update my review, golf is a freaking hard game and it’s rare to find something that can make a big difference in short game scoring. So gotta give Bridgestone the recognition they deserve - as long as they don’t mess with this ball. Leave it alone, it’s perfect as is.

Great Feel
I love the way these balls feel coming off the club. It is as though I can feel the ball compress upon impact. I'm a 6 handicapper but don't hit the ball that long. A good drive for me is about 250.I feel I get an extra 5 or 10 yards with these Bridgestone balls.I've always been a "feel" player and these golf balls have an awesome feel. They also are good around the greens. Excellent golf balls. My new favorite.

Many were great and I liked a variety of the name brands
For years of just being a once or twice yearly hacker, I didn't care what ball I used and would often find bargains on the internet for recycled balls. Many were great and I liked a variety of the name brands. Now that I'm retired, however, I am playing more and more. Whereas I could not previously intelligently discuss feel off the club, great spin, softness, etc., I now can speak to those things and more and more grasp how different balls react and how they feel to hit them with all of my clubs. Having said all that, I now focus only on top quality balls. Don't listen to those who say higher end balls are only for low handicappers or pros - nonsense!! Quality balls can help improve anyone's game in a variety of ways. I love these Bridgestone balls and will keep buying them (and a couple of other similarly priced balls from competitors). Well worth the price. If you're a higher handicapper like me and have a tough water shot coming up, maybe keep a couple scrub balls in the bag until you get it over the wet stuff - otherwise, use top quality and feel the difference!

Distance and spin up there with the best
[6 handicap] Had never played Bridgestone’s before, I typically play TP5X. Found one of these on the course and played the last 13 holes with it. I was hitting my driver longer than I had in ages and was actually backing up wedges and low irons on the green! (At most I typically get “1 hop and stop“ spin) These felt great around the greens as well. Ordered a box right when I got home, great bang for your buck!!

For low handicaps
These are great balls for low handicap players as they are multilayered giving excellent distance yet good spin around the greens. I always look for balls like this for under $35.

Great Ball
Great Ball - I prefer the Tour BX as this has a bit too much spin for me - but still a great ball - as good as the ProV1x and $20 cheaper if you get them on sale!

Not the right ball for me.
Not the ball for me. Not that its bad, just didn't play like the Pro V1 I am used to. HDCP 2.4, Swing speed 103. However, yoy still have to test the market sometimes you win sometimes you lose.........
