Q: Do you need to rinse the paste off. It's been recommended to use on scratches on caravan and caravan windows .

No you just polish it off when dry. This my first time using it. It seems to work well.

All depends on the depth of the scratch, if you are down to undercoat, no.

Q: Have a mastercraft boat finished in white with a dark blue strip, both are gelcoat finished. blue is heavily oxidised what product should i use?

I would use this product. Ask a boat builder if you aren't sure.
