Better than I initially thought
So my first impression was that this set was just okay, especially in light of the high cost. It seemed to work as well as any vitamin C/moisturizing serum duo that I have used, but not seemingly any better. And for whatever reason, it just wasn't what I reached for after my initial "trial" period. I do tend to have skin on the dryer side when left alone, but if I am good about using moisturizers I find that my skin stays soft and relatively blemish free. I am 50, and pretty much look my age with some fine lines and a few deeper wrinkles. This set initially seemed good to me, but nothing that was worthy of the $140 price tag. However, after the harsher winter weather kicked in and I got sick and sort of ignored my night time routine for a few days, I found that other serums and moisturizers just weren't enough to bring my skin back from dull and dry. I used a good glycolic acid toner followed by this set for a few days and my skin returned to bright and dewey with no dry patches. I can't say that this removes fine lines or wrinkles, but it does plump my skin a bit which definitely helps with the appearance. Mostly, this is intensely moisturizing. It's too pricey for me to use regularly, but I will definitely conserve so I can use this when I need a boost and when I travel to harsh/dry weather areas.

Great duo
I've been using the products for a few months now and really like it as part of my daily routine. The B8 serum is purple and I use that morning and night, while the Vitamin C serum is clear and use that in the morning. The B8 serum feels great on my skin, absorbs quickly and keeps my skin hydrated. My skin is sensitive, especially to Vitamin C so I only use that on spots with discoloration. This is probably the best Vitamin C serum I have used and it seems to be helping some of my lighter spots be clearer. I also haven't noticed any skin irritation or acne from using it on those spots.

Ok, but not any better than cheaper options
My skin gets a bit dry in the winter, as I live in a very cold climate so I had high hopes for these two serums. However, I cannot say that they work any better than similar cheaper serums out there. I've been using both for over a month now and I cannot say that my skin is any different than it was when I used my "regular" routine of products. The hyaluronic acid serum actually makes my skin feel dry, unless I apply it on my skin while it's damp. It soaks in VERY quickly and leaves my skin feeling like I used nothing at all. Just a nice, clean face, ready for my moisturizer. It's clear and has no scent, which is nice. I also like that the bottle has a dropper so I know exactly how much I am applying (same with the Vitamin C serum in this duo). The Vitamin C serum smells just like fresh citrus--it's not an artificial smell at all. However, this serum is very oily. It slightly soaks in but still leaves an oily residue even after 30 minutes, even if you only use a couple drops. I apply it, let it soak in for a few minutes and then end up trying to rub in even more or basically try to rub off the extra. It MAY interfere with applying your makeup depending on what kind of products you use.Overall, this isn't a bad set, it's just the fact that it really didn't work any better for me than other less expensive hyaluronic acid and vitamin C serums that I've used before. So, depending on your budget you decide if it's worth paying for the "name".

keeps my skin hydrated all winter!
This set comes with two serums one for brightening the skin and one for hydrating it. I think they work flawlessly together. The hydrating serum in particular is my favorite! It leaves my skin feeling so soft and plump which is especially good during the winter months. The brightening one is also good and doesn't leave my skin sensitive or feeling sticky. I always use this in combination with a good SPF and I have noticed my skin is looking brighter, smoother and dewey without feeling oily or greasy.

Why so expensive?
On my own, I would never buy a skincare product that's this expensive ($98 at the time of writing this review). I'm not certain what this offers beyond what cheaper similar serums offer. This said, it does absorb well into my skin and leaves it feeling hydrated. I like that it h no fragrance.

High quality
I can definitely tell this is a high quality product, the packaging and presentation was fantastic. Everything was nicely sealed, and nothing leaked. The vitamin c comes in a very dark bottle, and the bottle feels much heavier than other glass bottles. The ingredients all look great, and the products definitely perform up to par.

One is great...
I expected this to be a higher end product with great ingredients. I can absolutely say that about the moisturizer, which has lots of good stuff and no irritating ingredients added as fragrances. My skin likes it, despite it containing wheat protein, and it’s moisturizing, absorbs well, and doesn’t have a strong scent. I like it and it really stands out for containing a great variety of ingredients.Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the Luxe serum. That one has nearly as many commonly irritating ingredients as it does good - Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Limonene, Citral, Linalool, Geraniol - yuck. These include phototoxic ingredients and many that will become more irritating the longer they are exposed to the air. There’s a lot of people sensitive to these, so much so that the EU makes companies label individually (and not under the ‘fragrance’ umbrella). I simply can’t use the Luxe, which would be avoidable if they simply included ingredient information. Both bottles are come well sealed and there was no issues with leakage.I’m rating a two since I can’t rate it 2.5. That extra half of a percent can be for a lack of transparency on the page and claiming it’s a “skin-healing solution” when the Luxe would absolutely cause my skin (and many others’) to react. I'm including the ingredients here for folks who need them.
