Gibsons The Postman's Round jigsaw puzzle. (4x500 pieces)

We have only done one of these jigsaws but being 500 pieces it was completed over a weekend.The pieces are very sturdy, the colours bright and vibrant and the jigsaw was not difficult but not easy either.The pictures all feature the same village and some of the landmarks and characters (notably the Postman!). In each case you can identify buildings from the other pictures - literally the Postman's round!I gave the jigsaw five stars in all the categories except educational value which I only gave one star because I am not sure whether doing a jigsaw has any "educational value" other than teaching patience and the pleasure of doing something for no reason other than enjoyment.Whatever your age, doing a jigsaw is a nice way to spend an hour here and there, and if someone else joins in then it is a sociable activity. I recommend switching off the TV and starting a jigsaw.

Loved these jigsaws. What a great idea to have four in one box, great value for money. As I am retired I enjoy doing jigsaws but find the individual boxes expensive to buy unless bought from a charity shop. I think I have had all of the stock of 500 piece puzzles from my local shop

I love these Gibson puzzle sets . Would be happy to see them in the same thick quality board as the 1000 piece puzzles but they are by no means inferior quality. I like quality puzzles and interlocking. These are lovely. I would love to see one of the Gibson range such as these or rag and bone etc. in 1500 pieces or possibly 2000. I like to frame puzzles.

As a jigsaw fan and a follower of all things Gibson these 4x500 piece jigsaws were fun to do.Individually they were fairly straight forward to complete in a short space of time. HOWEVER..has anyone else tried putting all the pieces together and juggling four pictures at once? That WAS really fun and very hard work but well worth it and made for a completely different game!!

The puzzle is just right for all ages . The picture is always colourful and not boring and is a pleasure to do.

Pleased to find this as I already had the two jigsaw set with same subject (being daughter of a 1950s postman it was nostalgic for me) however so far I have attempted one puzzle and some of sky missing but I had extra sky pieces which didn't fit in so think puzzle pieces have become muddled between the four puzzles, will see when I start another one. Like most people I tend to do jigsaws in winter so this may be some time.

Done one jigsaw there are nine pieces missing and plastic bag was open. Disappointing

Jigsaws are good quality and colourful, which makes them easier for 'beginners'. They are excellent value for money and work out much cheaper than buying individual puzzles.

Puzzles très sympas à faire mais certains détails sont un peu flous dans le rendu visuel . A chaque fois je passe un agréable moment à les faire .

Puzzles très intéressants du fait qu'il s'agit d'une série, la qualité n'est toutefois pas celle des Ravensburger au niveau de la qualité du carton mais n'enlève rien au plaisir de les réaliser.
