My long hair cat HATES brushings. She has a very fine undercoat and does get matted. She stayed out during the first use & even rolled over allowing me to brush the other side. I got off a cat sized amt of hair before she decided enough! She has since submitted to frequent brushings.

I bought three types of brush to use with our cat, and this is our favorite! I wondered if it's an overkill since he's a cat but this baby manages to get hair out of our cat better than the super fine metal comb and the clicky type (dont recommend)

Works well. Pulls out masses of fur. If not careful, could hurt a dog.

This is a good pet brush. I do notice it gets a little stuck sometimes, but it helps a lot with tangles my mop dog gets in her fur. It also works well for parting and carefully smoothing the hair around her eyes. It's easy to hold and the blue color is nice.

I have a Pomeranian mix who has a thick undercoat, this rake works great without ripping fur out. No need to press hard, I gently brush him and this rake gets all the loose undercoat out.
