Already having problems with the screen and it has only been about 30 days.
The replacement took a bit longer to do than I thought. You essentially have to take apart the entire phone and then re-assemble it. Make sure you have some really thin double sided tape as most of the internal parts and stuck together, so when you take them apart you'll need a way to put them back together. The black edges have a matte finish that I actually kind of liked vs the polished factory version. As for the screen? Picture quality seems fine but I've had this installed for less than a month now and the glass is starting to pop up on the sides. In fact, when you press on the screen you can see the glass bounce up and down on the sides. I've contacted the seller and will see about a replacement, but BUYER BE WARE, so far this hasn't even made it 30 days without me having a major issue.I kind of wish I would have just spent the extra time and money and sent this back to LG to have repaired.UPDATE(06/25/14): I have lowered my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. The reason? They told me they would send me a new one BUT first I had to send back the old one. Seriously? Now I have to take apart my phone AGAIN and send you back the bad part so you can send me another one? This was after I sent them photographic proof of the issue.I'll say it again - I SHOULD HAVE JUST SPENT THE FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND SENT THE PHONE TO LG.

Great screen...tools were eh....
Dropped the Nexus 5 on a cement floor - no good. Screen was cracked and needed replaced.Found this on Amazon (my main source of everything) and gave it a try. One of the other reviews links to a how-to video with step by step tear down and rebuild instructions. Took me about 90 minutes to get everything taken apart and put back together, and the screen looks like new again. My only gripe (and it's a minor one) was the tool kit that came with the screen. The case openers (look almost like guitar picks) worked great, but both plastic pry tools snapped in half when trying to get the battery out. I wound up using a few toothpicks to slide under the battery and pry it of the adhesive. Also, the Phillips screwdriver that was included was too big for the N5's screws, but anyone that's willing to tear apart a cellphone probably has a bunch of tiny screwdrivers already (like me).I would for sure buy it again

The tools were useful, but I had to return the product
The tools were useful, but I had to return the product, because it didn't line up properly and didn't allow me to close the case all the way. Otherwise, the screen was beautiful and I had an easy time switching everything out. It was just a little off and so i couldnt close the case all the way.

Good replacment
I cannot complain about this product as it works just like OEM and the switch out went smooth. It also is the cheapest I could find online and get in a reasonable time. I wouldn't buy again and am only giving it three stars as you can get it officially done through LG for ~140 so if you want to save ~15 and do it yourself then go for it. I for one like to be challenged and try new things but for ~15 it isnt worth my time.

Worked well
I just looked for a tutorial on youtube and did the install. The tutorial I selected also told you how to separate the LCD screen, but with this I just skipped that step. This has a matte finish, not the nice glossy finish. We might go ahead and get an LCD to fix the glossy assembly, but for right now we're happy with this. The mounts for the screws appear to be plastic which I didn't like... there also isn't adhesive, but that didn't seem to cause any problems. The screen works very well and looks very good. Overall was a pleasant install.OH!, but the assembly doesn't come with the power button or the volume button... so make sure you steal those from your old assembly.

24 Days to Arrive; Defective Garbage
I ordered this on May 6th, 2014 and the expected delivery time was quite lengthy. I was going to cancel the order and find a different vendor, but over email the seller assured me:"your order Estimated Delivery: Jun 2, 2014 to Jun 18, 2014 was wrong. today we will use First-Class Maill send to you, about 8 days will arrive."Today is May 30th and it has finally arrived, 24 days after I was told it would take 8.After some work in dealing with an utterly useless plastic tool (the edge bends and breaks far too easily - my fingernail and a pocketknife were far more useful) I got the front assembly replaced in about 45 minutes. Only after finishing the repair did I realize how awfully defective this piece is. The lower left corner of the glass screen is not affixed to the plastic housing at all. When the screen is on, light shines through this sizable gap. To make problems even worse, the screen responds extremely poorly to touch. The corners are entirely non-responsive and touching everywhere else on the screen is at least a few millimeters off (e.g. trying to touch the Home button results in the phone detecting a touch several millimeters away). I've turned on touch tracking in the developer options and confirmed the issue.Furthermore, it's obvious that this part is not even close to OEM quality. The edges do not match the matte black finish of the OEM part and instead it has a shiny black finish with a slippery feel.I'm furious with the slow and misleading customer service responses and the abysmal quality of this product. I'm demanding a refund or immediate replacement and will update this review with any response I get.

Been working great for a year--beats heat guns, wire, glue, etc.
Been working fine for a year. Hard to really compare with the original screen, but no big difference to me. My glass was cracked, but the digitizer was still working, but the difficulty in heating and removing the glass was more than I wanted to do (and I am willing to try nearly anything to fix something-major DIYer). For $35 you get your phone back, and just have to pull a few screws. Use the Youtube videos, be careful, and enjoy your fixed phone.
