Buyer beware
Followed ALL instructions and used tech support from our internet company, item was defective and would not lock onto the proper bands or keep the settings that we had applied for use. Returned the item and was only given a partial refund due to "return shipping and restocking" which was NOT outlined in the return instructions or on the information page. Attempted to contact MoFi for further information and they refused to respond after the intial email stating we were only getting a partial refund.

Runs like a charm, if you know about power outages and spikes and how to deal with it
First of all: This device is great! It is fast and supports a lot of standards. We're using it in our RV with a T-Mobile unlimited data plan. I would buy it again. But we had some trouble:The Mofi router froze from time to time. And I had a hard time to reboot it properly (how it worked, see instructions below). It happened at least 2-3 times a month. But: problem solved!:Their support told me, that this is pretty unusual. The only idea they had was to try a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) since the router seems to be prone to spikes, surges and power outages. It worked! I purchased the Forza UPS 750VA- 375W Battery Backup, Surge Protector- Uninterruptible Power Supply- 6 Outlets.I had to charge the UPS entirely, because before the router didn’t boot properly (although the UPS was connected to the power supply).Since then, the router now runs like a charm non-stop since 3 months without any problems. It’s still odd, that the router has reboot problems. I need to power cycle 3-5 times (device powered for 20-30 seconds before cycling it again), before it’s back online …But other than that, very reliable!

MOFI Cellular router
This router is very easy to set up, even though the "manual" is just a couple of sheets of paper. That being said, if you look up "MOFI 4500 Setup" from Sele Training on Youtube there is an excellent video with step by step instructions to set this router up. But seriously, if you just go through the "Wizard" it's pretty easy. There is one setting that will need to be changed from Linux to Linux2-65 (see the video for a better description) but other than that, the Wizard will walk you through all the steps. Get a Sim card from your wireless provider (add a line to your plan) which shouldn't cost more than $20/month, pop it into this router and set it up. It has good WiFi signal, and even in relatively fringe areas has excellent Cellular connectivity. I'm on T-Mobile and live pretty much in the middle of nowhere and we get over 30 Mbps speeds, for only an extra $20 a month! My only complaint is with the price of the router. But considering what this gives us and allows me to have internet in my 5th wheel, I can deal with it. Highly recommended.

Great for campers!
This is a wonderful unit and great for our camping trips as most campsites have crappy wifi. As long as you get good signal from your phone carrier, you should have great success with this. I did purchase exterior antennas for the outside of our camper but have not had the chance to fully test them. But, just using the supplied antennas we were able to stream you tube videos as well as movies in 720 HD with no problem on our tablets using tv zion. You must have a good data plan because streaming movies eats up data fast. Also, it was easily able to handle all of our devices where as using our phone for a hotspot was only practical for one device without buffering. Both my wife and I were able to stream a different movie at the same time. Although expensive, this unit is the best. I would definitely buy again. If you are tired of little to no wifi while camping, this should solve your problem and no dish required. It can easily be permanently installed if desired. Just remember that signal strength is key and location affects that. If you have mountains, trees etc blocking tower, you may need to purchase outside antennas to boost signal. In some very remote locations with no towers close by, this may not help however, in most cases you should be able to achieve decent internet, certainly better than what the campsites offer. Enjoy!

Works while driving down the road.
Love this we take it on the road with us so our kids and work on their laptops for school. Works great! There are some areas it won't work in but nothing works in those areas. We have alos used it at home and again no issues absolutely love it. Will be turning in our internet provider and using this from now on. It does not work well with wifi calling.

Don't waste your money
This product doesn't work, i have tried two different Verizon sims and it has killed both of them. i had to replace them. i removed my cards from a working phone with unlimited data, put them in and did setup, it never hooked to the internet. It did see the sim and number but never connected to the Net, when i removed the sim and put it back in my phone i had no cellular data and had to replace the sim. i was stupid enough to try again with another sim and got the same results.

Router failed in only a few months.
Contacted Manufacture and they have stopped returning my emails. I assume that I will not get the device replaced. If the device gets replaced I will change my review.
