Works Great
Had to remove the front of my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This tool and the supplied rivets work great to replace the factory ones on the wheel wells. Rivets broke off flush every time.

A handy tool
I got this set to assist in replacing some plastic trim on my SUV. Not much to say, other than it works just as I expected and hoped. A welcome addition to my tool collection.

Rivets are complete garbage and utterly useless.
The tool itself is decent enough. Seems fairly sturdy and seems to work alright. But the rivets that come with the tool are just complete garbage. Was trying to reattach my Jeep WJ's rear bumper, and it needs rivets to hold this little plastic fender bit inside the wheel well.Tried every single size rivet included in the product, both on the bumper, and outside by itself. Almost every single time, no matter how much pressure I tried applying to the tool, or how slowly or quickly I squeezed it, the rivets would almost instantly shatter. Thankfully I live within walking distance of an Autozone, so I just got some new rivets from them instead. So save yourself the trouble, and buy the tool by itself elsewhere, and get some actually decent rivets from your local autoparts store.

the pop rivets shatter, probably worthless
The pop rivets that came with the set are made of fragile plastic and easily shatter. The little things that bend outward behind the surface can break, so the rivet just falls out. I tried a few without putting it through the flashing, and when they are supposed to fold out, they fold but then just snap. Fourteen of them broke when I was trying to fasten the parts together, so about two duds per hole. The description says they are "industrial strength polyoxymethylene (POM) rivets". I don't know what POM is, but they wouldn't hold two pieces of paper together, so I don't know what industry they are built for. It's very likely that the ones that did hold today will shatter and fall out fairly soon, but at least I bought some time to find good pop rivets. The tool does work pretty well.

China quality but got the job done
Quality is typical of what you would get at Harbor Freight but it got the job done (adding plastic fender flare extensions to a Jeep JT). I had to disassemble and reset the gripping teeth when they became misaligned after a rivet nub got stuck inside. Okay for occasional use but spend more on a quality product if you will use this tool regularly.

Great tool at a great price.
The tool arrived in good order with a supply of plastic rivets as promised, and for a price that was very reasonable.

Worked from the get go
I had no problems with the device. Not the sturdiest seeming thing but it worked great and did not cost much so, I'm in.

Tool great. Rivets brittle (hot or cold)
I bought this a one-stop solution to re-attach front license plate holder that required 1/4 blind nylon rivets. The tools seems well built, sturdy, no play. easy to remove tip to clear out anything that gets stuck in mechanism.Everyone of the larger rivets included in package were very brittle and simply exploded on use. After doing a few on the auto, I wondered if I was doing something wrong. I tried to sacrifice test large rivet in open air and it simply exploded when I gently tried to compress.I tried both scenarios in colder temps: warm in hand for awhile (or put in pocket). also had in sun in mid-60's day. the result was the same plastic bits and pieces. The two-stars is for the tools. zero stars for the rivets. Now I have to do another order for rivets that are reliable. wish we luck. I guess this is why FORD parts want $6.50 per rivet. lame.
