I bought this to transfer very large media files between an iMac and PC (the average file size was around 70Gb) and this USB does the job perfectly. Its capacity is actually 1.05Tb, and it comes already formatted as EX-FAT, so it's perfect for my uses. It terms of transfer speed, it’s not fantastically fast, but time wasn’t a factor for me so that wasn’t a big deal.And at £10 it's a bargain.UPDATE: I’ve seen some of the negative reviews of this product, with some of those reviewers claiming that all the 5 Star reviews must be ‘fake’ reviews. That is not the case with me, I actually purchased this product and my review is 100% genuine.

I, like you, checked the reviews for this device, and found most to be favourable, apart from one that warned that this was a scam.I should have taken heed of that one.The others I can only assume are fake, or they are transferring very small files infrequently. I ordered two of these devices as I needed the capacity for some backups - however, they are essentially useless. I performed some bench testing on my USB3 port on my laptop (which is powerful - I'm a Software Developer by trade), and the transfer speeds were atrocious. Tries various different drive formats, fiddling with the priority settings, Windows hardware settings etc. but made no difference.Avoid. The price is ridiculously cheap because they are ridiculously cheap and nasty.

I purchased this USB over 10 days ago and have been very impressed. I'm using it to store pictures and files and transfer my data. The speed of transferring data is rapid . Works perfectly with my windows laptop and phone media transfers. The capacity of a fantastic 982GB, would recommend to others!

The first thing I will mention is that the drive comes in an unnecessarily fancy carbon fibre-look gift case made from mixed materials. The majority of people are going to send that case straight to landfill. I would far prefer it to come in cardboard packaging or a blister pack like drives from other manufacturers do, rather than trying to present the drive as some kind of luxury gift product.It does what it says though, as a flash drive, and the capacity does seem to be correct. The drive has a highly polished chrome finish and looks pretty good. I'm getting reasonably decent speeds when transferring files to/from the drive but nothing amazing, which is reflected in the price of these drives. It doesn't seem to get too hot whilst in use. I did find that it's a much tighter fit in the USB ports of my PC than any of my other USB flash drives, of which I have dozens, so hopefully it's not going to damage/loosen my USB ports.I would recommend this drive because it performs pretty well for the money, but it isn't from a brand that I have ever heard of so I won't be storing anything critical on it, but will just use it for transferring large files (movies etc) between my PC's.All in all I can't see any reason for me not to recommend it at the price.

small, portable, robust. works perfect and reliable. He uses it for gaming and school work. He is really happy with his gift! I think I will buy some more as Christmas presents! he is very happy with the high storage. My sister is happy with me for a change!

move whathewer you want music, movie, documents, files, everything ...I use to transfer all my favorite movies and its still plenty of spaces, happy with that, also ia good thing i can use it as keyring and all the time to keep with my keys.

This "982GB" drive is clearly fake.Transfer speeds were a paltry 3MB/s in Windows. Appalling stuff.Through testing It seems about 60gb may be legit, but you'll soon start getting errors when you try writing any data over this. Files become unreadable and fail to open from the device.I should have known this was too good to be true.I'm not even going to bother going through the hassle of the return, as it arrived in a small, bubble wrapped pocket that had to be ripped open. There was no box.I'm not wasting any more money on a returns packet when I got it for a tenner on a Black Friday deal.Spend your money on a reputable brand folks and avoid this one like the plague.

Seemed to good to be true, arrived in a plastic bag unlike review pictures I’ve seen, slow transfer speed and formatting to multiple formats just wouldn’t allow it to be picked up by my device. Returning for a refund. Seems to be a cheap fake.
