The general answer for this would be: For ballet/dance use adults 42", children 30-32" If this is for a single user then the top of the barre should be at your elbow height when standing straight up. If the barre is to be used for barre fitness programs then the barre should be at about 38" above the floor.

Q: Can you install this into a concrete wall

First I must tell you that I LOVE my ballet bar. BUT! Those large bolts that came with the bar are not adequate, in fact the 4th one broke off in the wall. I had a handy man fix that--we bought mega strong bolts at a hardware store and that's my happy ending. I would strongly recommend that you pick up appropriate bolts for concrete and if you need one, find a handy man to install it.

Q: Hello! we have two 3' 3" mirrors. do you know how wide the wall mounts (3) are? i need to be sure i can get the center one mounted.

My bar would not fit a 3' mirror, I have 2.5 ft. between brackets. Keep in mind that you do have some degree of variance on where you place your brackets. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and allows for slight change in distance between between brackets. However, you HAVE to mount them in studs. Hope this helps.
