Great option for extending your 4-pin headphone cable....
I have a pretty good pair of headphones and I have a custom made 4-pin cable to use with my system, but I unfortunately ordered it too short for my current needs. Buying another custom-made longer one seemed like a waste of money so this was a really good option. Take note that this is not your standard XLR 3-pin balanced cable, and it can't be used like one. Good connectors, quiet, no loss in signal that I've found, perfect option for me.

This cable works and all the pins connect to each other it’s not one of those where half the pins aren’t connected

Very strange wiring
This cable wiring is very strange. Pin 1 is tied to the shield of the cable.What is the point of having 4 conductor + shield, if you are going to tie pin 1 to shield?
