I thought this is a number 3 tread but is as 10 or 20, very thin, beautiful color and strength.

Nice quality thread, especially for the price. I would compare these to a slightly nicer craft grade thread (doily weight). They are larger spools than expected - about size of my fist. I thought they would be much smaller spools and about size 8 thread based on manufactures photos. The thread is roughly similar to size 5 double stranded thread. It’s soft and I anticipate it getting fuzzy when used for hand embroidery as planned based on previous experiences with similar quality products (will update later if this is not the case). The colors are pretty accurate to the photos provided.

This yarn/thread is not a 6/2 - which denotes that it should be made of size 6 thread of 2 twisted plys. As one can see in my photo it is 3 thinner threads wrapped together, not 2. Also, the color is more of a deep gold than any brown shade. It’s a good price for as much as is on the cone but it needs to be described properly.

I'm absolutely happy I stumbled upon this listing in a search for crochet thread. It gave me an affordable option of a variety of colors in my first attempt at crocheted flowers. I've now bought both the small sampler of 20 and the larger balls in packs of 10. I would not hesitate to purchase again.

I have been crocheting for years. I have used Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread and Lizbeth thread. Although it’s hard to look at this thread compared to Aunt Lydia’s it’s definitely thinner. I can feel that when working with it. When the Doily is done with the same size hook as the Aunt Lydia’s, this brand is smaller. I will not buy again.
